I Want To Go Home

Gemma stood stunned as she watched Miguel and the doctor kiss passionately like there was no care in the world.

It felt like her heart was being ripped out of her chest. She had thought that she couldn't care less if the doctor wanted Miguel, but looking at them now, she knows she was only deceiving herself back then.

Of course, she cares. She cares about Miguel and that is why her heart is beating so fast and she is almost at the point of tears as she is watching them.

Is she his girlfriend? How long have they been dating? Even if she already knows that she and Miguel can't be together, there is still a tiny part of her that wishes that the situation was different.

Her poor heart can't take this anymore, Gemma turned to leave, but she lost balance and fell.

"Gemma!" Miguel called, the moment he detached his lips from Helen's and he found her on the floor. Helen groaned in exasperation.
