The demon god is back

*ancient Egypt*

( sun city, sun god Ra's abode)

"How is that even possible? " Ra asked as his rage was slowly overcoming him. His eyes burned in fury.

He had ordered Shu to bring Nut out for her judgment ealier today at the judgement counsel where all other immortals and mortals had gathered for her judgment, but she was reported missing and Shu himself was badly injured, that his mortal form and god form were in a trance, due to their state of weakness. So he needed time to rejuvenate.

Ra was shocked to the core on the news and swore in his god tone and aura that anyone, be it mortal, immortal, god or demon who did this must pay with his or her soul.

However, he couldn't think of any immortal or mortal that could challenge him in such a way, nor dare to even hurt the air god and escape with a prisoner of the dark hole, a prison or place of punishment to all gods of Egypt. No one would there to challenge him in such a daring way.

"Supreme father, please take some rest. Once air god Shu is awake, we would ask him to tell us exactly who committed such a hideous crime and he or she, be it mortal or immortal or even god, shall be punished servely" Horus the god of sky and war spoke to Ra in a soothing tone, in order to calm him down.

Horus took over the ruling of the sky since Nut was reprimanded and his god will was increased as well. He now sat next to Ra at his left hand side, at the god counsel since both Geb and Nut were out of the picture, he claimed the position immediately as his recognition among the mortals increased as well. He was now a proud god.

"Horus? " Ra called

"Yes supreme father " he replied with a slight bow.

"Summon all other gods, l am calling for an impromptu god counsel".

"Ok supreme father" Horus bowed and turned to leave. He took few paces to the window of the counsel as he flew outside the it swiftly. His was already in his god form, as mortal body could enter sun city especially sun god Ra's abode.

Minutes later, other gods were seen, taking their seat accordingly in the counsel of gods as all waited for Ra to call the shots. When they were all seated, including Horus who did the job of summoning the meeting.

Ra took a deep breathe, before starting. "My fellow gods of Egypt, l the supreme father called you all, so that we can deliberate on the matter at hand. The hurting of my son, the Egyptian god of air, Shu and the disappearance of my grand daughter, the Egyptian goddess of sky, Nut. Who was supposed to face judgement today by our very hands, but is now nowhere to be found.

So fellow gods and goddess, rulers of Egypt, please give me your opinions that this issue might the resolved, and the prisoner brought back to justice". Ra ended with authority.

"Supreme father" lsis started waiting for Ra's approval to continue.

"Speak lsis" Ra ordered.

"I can find out who did this" she said with authority.

"Really lsis can you? " Ra asked as his eyes widened in amazement.

The other gods too especially Horus was surprised by her words.

"Is that even possible lsis, l mean can you find out who did this without air god Shu's testimony " Horus asked still trying to understand her words correctly.

"Yes supreme father, fellow gods and rulers of Egypt, I can do it. All l need to do is to visit the dark hole, then l can ask nature herself to bear witness and testify to me what happened and who committed such attrocity against a god of Egypt". She said confidently, emitting her aura in a dangerous way.

"Good lsis" Ra breathed. " then you shall be accompanied by Horus. You both should return with a tangible answer to me the next sun by morrow. Remember lsis l don't like being disappointed " Ra said with authority.

"You won't be disappointed supreme father, trust l and my will". Isis said with a smile on her face.

"With that being said, you all may return to your abides, and we shall gather here again by the first sun of the morrow to here what lsis has to share". With that, Ra dismissed the counsel.

Ra trusted lsis's will. Isis was believed to be powerful in the ways of magic, having the ability to create and destroy life with mere words. She not only knew the words which needed to be spoken to cause certain things to occur, but was also able to use exact pronunciation and emphasis in order for the desired effect to occur. And this made her the most powerful goddess of Egypt, even more powerful than Nut.

Ra just hoped that the being responsible for the crime, won't be who he was thinking.

On the night of the incident, he had felt the presence of a strong darkness just like Aposis's hovering over Egypt. But he knew that all the borders were well guarded and protected by the gods and goddess so there was absolutely nothing to worry about.

And even though it was Aposis, which he was sure it wasn't. Infact, that wasn't possible because he had joined forces with Geb in the past and cast Aposis to internal darkness with no way of escape. Geb was actually his best weapon against Aposis when he attacked, and due the nature of his will they won and defeated the demon lord, sending him to a dungeon of the underworld.

He was very affirmed that Aposis was never going to bother Egypt again. If that was so, then what was this strange darkness he felt last nigh...

*air god Shu's abode*

(The dark hole)

Isis and Horus went to the dark hole with the light of the moon shone unto them by lah the moon goddess.

They went to the place where Shu's body was picked, and took it to be the scene of the attack. She squated and let her palm touch the earth, she was about to start the ancient spells when Horus spoke.

"Isis l really feel there is no need for this, l mean there is no use for you to use your will for this, when it is visible enough for everyone to see who the culprit is " he said in a convincing tone.

"If l may ask " lsis started "Horus who is this that you are suspecting, and how are you so sure that the one you suspect is guilty remember you're not a god of divinity so how sure are you that what you say is true" lsis stared at him with dread as she shook her head at him.

"I know you won't believe my lsis but something in me tells me that Geb is responsible for this. I mean you check it yourself what if he broke the bonds of the hourglass, and was able to make to our time and take his lover with him back to were he was". He said, with his voice full of anger.

"Horus be patient, what ever feelings or suspicions you have would be settled now" lsis said as she started the ancient charms.

She chanted till she transformerd to her god form god glowing in gold lights and blazing sparkles glowing from her head and her gold eyes.

The sight was too bright for Horus to behold he had to turn away from her as he look at the other way, backing lsis.

Isis kept chanting loudly this time she kept increasing her tempo till she let out a loud scream and entered a trance.

*the trance*

Isis opened her eyes and she saw Shu standing above the dark hole, staring at it. He couldn't see nor her because it was a trance and not real life. He stood there for some time, like he was in deep thoughts then decided to go. He stepped back from the entrance of the hole and then walked to his abode, then he stopped abruptly. He sensed the presence of another immortal, a god or maybe a demon. He turned around swiftly to meet the fiery eyes of the demon god himself " Aposis?! "

'Aposis?! 'Isis gasped as well, but kept her cool as she kept observing.

"Shu" Aposis breathed "its been long like about... let me think" he said as he placed his hand on his chin thoughtfully "oh yes, its been hundreds of centuries since l last saw you. And l must say that you look good and not quite affected by what was going on". He said with an evil smirk on his face. Isis felt so disgusted, but still kept the trance on as she wanted to know all that happened.

"Aposis... Leave now before l send word to the supreme father and Geb as well. Am sure you wouldn't like to be banished the second time". Shu said fearlessly.

"Ha ha ha" Aposis laughed loudly "please Shu, am not here for jokes l just came for Nut because l know where she can find the one god She's still living for, Geb" he said with a grin.

Isis knew what would happen next, she knew the duo would break into a fight, and it so happened.

The fight lasted for few minutes, before the demon lord took over. Shu lost. Aposis lifted him with his tail and flung him far away at the other side of the serene.

He turned back to his mortal form and walked to the entrance of the hole. He opened it to find an almost lifeless Nut, who felt alive when her eyes met his. "Aposis?! " she called with disbelieve.

Isis really wanted to continue the illusion, bit she was at her limit and couldn't keep up. She let out a loud scream as it was now becoming unbearable.

"Aaaaaah" she screamed as she heard Horus tell her to let go of the trance. She did just that and jolted back to the real world.

"Isis are you ok" Horus asked her with genuine care.

"Am fine" she replied between heavy pants.

"What did you find out "he asked as his eyes darted around her face, Like the answers were pasted there.

Isis looked at him for some seconds before finally speaking.

"The demon god is back"...
