Gift for the Prince

Basileus's expression became serious. He couldn't help being sensitive about things having to do with the castle or his past. There was an underlying feeling of shame being that he was a prince with an extinct kingdom. His desire to rule was constantly challenged. 

The prince didn't know what to expect when the door to his previous quarters slid open. He had no way to prepare for what she was going to show him.

Basileus had noticed that other parts of the castle had been redone in a way that honored the previous architectural style but he didn't think anything of it. However, when he was finally able to lay his eyes on the room that had been transformed in the space of a month, he was speechless.
