Chapter 9: Festive Magic

Deep breaths...

*inhales*

*exhales*

At the presemt moment, I'm waiting for my turn to take an aptitude test that would assess our knowledge and capabilities.

This is so that we can be assigned to certain classes so that it can seperate the smartest and most skilled students from the others and then further decide us into groups based in the Schools of Magic we are most proficient in.

All students learn the same thing, only at a different pace to the ones placed in the lower groups, after all, if you can get into the Magic Academy of the Imperial City then you must be special or have great potential...or you're just rich enough to buy your way in.

Thanks to Siv's help I had been able to prepare enough for the admitance tests a month ago, and now I have to take a new exam.

Sivreth told me alot of stuff about magic, especially about Magnus (Et'Ada) and the Sun (also called Magnus).

(A/n quick lore, the Et'Ada Magnus was almost deceived by Lorkhan into sacrificing his power in order to create the mortal realm Mundus and the planet Nirn, Magnus saw through this half way and stopped giving up his power. He then fled Atherius with other Et'Ada who agreed with Magnus and wanted to keep the last remains parts of their power. When they fled Atherius it created a tear in it and this tear is the Sun, which is nammed after him and called Magnus. The Sun is where Magicka comes from, without it there would be no magic in Nirn. There is also the Eye of Magnus and the Staff of Magnus but let's forget that. There are 3 factions of Et'Ada. The ones that joined Magnus called the Magna Ge, the ones that gave up all their power and was tricked by Lorkhan called the Aedra (aka the 8 Divines. Talos is Mortal and was given divinity by the other 8 Divines), and last is the ones that refused to partake in any of this and hoardered their power, refusing Lorkhan's "deal" (plot), these Et'Ada are called the Daedra, aka the Daedric Princes. (Malacath and Mehrunes Dagon weren't among the original ones. They were created much later on.))

It was really complicated to get my head around but Siv told me not to tell these things and they were only meant for me to know.

I asked why and he just told me that noone would believe me if I said any of this and might harm my family to silence this false spreading of information.

The Thalmor wants to control the Empire and if someone like me or Sivreth revealed any of this then we would be in danger, as what we know could evolve and open up new branches in magic for Tamriel as a whole.

But the Thalmor are only focused on establishing Elf Supremacy.

I watched the students step up and perform various tests, I even spotted some friends of mine I had met before.

I was happy that they made it, however some of my other friends I didn't see, I wasn't sad about it since I see them all the time so our friendship won't end so easily just cause we aren't in the same school.

Some of my friends went of to become merchants, blacksmiths and soilders in training.

"Next up is...Elika Ashenclaw!"

Hearing the Examiner call my name, I stood up and calmed myself, despite everything Siv taught me and said, I was still nervous.

I wished he was here, but he said he couldn't as his mother was killed and he needed to stay hidden so the killers wouldn't find him.

Sivreth pov:

"It's so boring, why the Hell can't these dumbass teachers hurry up! Half these nimwits can't do shit!"

It was so unbelievably boring watching these kids do magic.

Even the teachers can't do anything.

All they did was give some simple tests like Tolfdir did in the starting test for the Mage's Guild questline.

Like seriously?!

I get it that their 10 to 12 years old, Elika is the youngest being 9 years old and her 10th birthday is soon from what she told me.

But these tests are schilds play.

I was watching everything transpire from a nearby rooftop, I feel like a certain professional bold Hitman.

I was using a Cloak of Invisibility I made recently, to conceal myself indefinitely.

"Next up is...Elika Ashenclaw!" The Examiner called out, and Elika stood up in response.

As she made her way to the platform where she'll perform the test, located in the courtyard, some other students whispered to one another, making sure their voices were heard by Elika.

"Look at her, you sure she didn't get in with money."

"She's going to fail and up another disgrace just like her father."

I looked at Elika and saw she had a down expression after goering their words.

I didn't have any friends in my past life as a result of my anti-social behaviour and inability to communicate with others.

But Elika is the only person I had been in an actual friendship with the longest, well one that was genuine at least.

I knew it wouldn't last due to my heritage but I hope she might be the oddball and stay my friend after maturing and realising what I really am.

In my past life Black people was looked down upon because they had a different skin colour, but all that eventually changed and in the modern day Black and White people are living side by side.

Sure there is still racism, but compared to Black slavery, it was a huge improvement. The same thing for the Jews during and after the death of certain devil of a person, who will not be nammed.

I felt my anger welling up inside at the bullies words.

I raised my hand and conjured forth a Eagle made from ice with a misty aura emanating from its body.

The Frost Eagle wasn't summoned from conjuration magic from the Soul Cairn, but with my own soul and Evocation Magic.

Evocation is just a different name for Destruction Magic in the Elder Scrolls.

I had been able to create this Eagle thanks to studying the book Twin Secrats written by Brarilu Theran.

Brarilu Theran was the mage that challenged and defeated the Dragon of Morrowind which most likely is Ahbiilok.

Ahbiilok revealed how to place two enchantments onto the sane item, and the process was interesting.

In theory, one could put 3 or 5, 8, 15, 100 enchantments onto a singular object, but the method to do it is so dangerous that only 2 can be applied.

But I used the knowledge of how to channel the soul from a soul gem, but instead I used my own soul 'essence' to create a temporary weak Phantom of sorts.

It can phase through walls like a ghost but it isn't a physical being like other beings summoned from Oblivion are.

This is both an advantage and disadvantage at the same time.

With my newly summoned Frost Eagle, I sent him towards the two bullies.

The Eagle swooped down and startled the two bullies causing them to lose their balance and fall as they thought the Eagle who hit them, but instead it passed through their bodies.

They quickly picked themselves off the floor and cleaned off the dust on their clothes.

The surrounding students laughed at them before the Examiner silenced everyone, but I noticed that Elika had a slight smile on her face now.

I showed her my Frost Eagle before, this definitely cheered her up knowing i was watching.

"Okay Ms Ashenclaw, cast a Fire Rune on the targeted area for the practical test."

Hmm, isn't this a bit high for newbies?

Sivreth's suspicions was correct as this test was meant to be failed by the majority of the students present and was only done to see the effort and dedication a student puts in into trying to succeed in casting an unknown spell.

Contrary to the Teachers expectations, Elika was effortlessly able to cast the apprentice spell Fire Rune with only a single hand, unlike the other students whi had to use two hands.

Elika took it a step further and casted three Fire Runes at the same time with each hand and with her eyes for the third.

This trick was what the Dragon Ahbiilok had taught Brarilu Theran.

After seeing Elika pss the test I decided to leave since the rest of the exams will take place inside, and I can't see past all the defensive barriers and enchantments placed on the Magic Academy.

I had to rush alot of the busy stuff I was doing, mainly because my aunt had came back from hospital and I had to be the one to care for her and literally carry and lift her as she is still recovering from her seizure effects. She literally can't stand now which makes it impossible to take her to the toilet since she is bed bound, so I had no choice but to lift her...by myself...and its been very Tiring. But fortunately its every 4 days I need to do it and I'm free of everything now to continue updating!

I'll be doing a full guide and livestream to literally speed run and get every skill in the game to 90 or 100 in around 10 hours easy without doing barely any quests.

• Alchemy 100

• Enchanting 100

• Make alchemy glitch potion

• Enchant the following for any item of your choice using the resto glitch:

• - sneaking, pickpocket

• - stamina, health

• - Alteration, conjuration

• Lockpicking, magicka

• Go and get Telekinesis spell

• Equip reduce Alteration spell cost gear u made and teleport across the map while using the Telekinesis spell on an object

• Instant 100 Alteration in one button

• Sell one of the firify restoration glitch potions

• Instant 100 speech cause value of object sold will increase speech

• Go to riften jail and put the extra restoration potions on Black Briar and pickpocket him while sneaking with the pickposcket/sneaking gear u made

• Easy pickpocket 100

• Craft an item

• Upgrade that item using Blacksmithing glitched potion

• When u upgrade something ur smiting will go up and with a potion it will go to 100 in one click, this does not work when forging the base item in the fire only upgrading

• Get the paralysis spell

• Get soul trap spell

• Go to any trainer in any skill

• Buy all 5 levels using gold u made from selling the restoration glitch potions

• Use paralysis spell on the trainer

• Crouch/sneak

• As soon as paralysis spell Wears off, button mash pickpocket and steal the gold back (unsure if still works but it did when I last tried and in most patch versions)

• U have gold back and git free levels

• Use the Alteration glitch to level up again if needed

• Go back to trainer and repeat

• Get 90 or 95 depending on the trainer

• Companions for warrior skills

• Thieves Guild for Thief skills

• Mage Guild for magic skills or go to Neloth by starting dragonborn dlc and speed running to him

• To level the rest is where ur gear comes into play

• Spam Soul trap on a horse, conjuration 100

• Sneak attack greybeards on legendary difficulty, I do this every time, they literally don't care and stay there until they take enough damage, but will if they detect u but you should be fine

• Sneak 100

• Lock picking is irrelevant

• Blocking, go find 2 giants a d have the health glitch enchantment equipped

• Also equip light or heavy armour

• Black and let them hit u non stop

• Easy level up to 100 for block, light armour, heavy armour

• Use Destruction and restoration healing spell on a horse

• Or find bunch of undead and use restoration circle with them inside and super fast restoration to 100

• U get the idea

• Or you can use oghma Infinium as u can do that immediately by running to Septimus and getting the Dragon Elder Scroll

• Then find skill books across Tamriel and easy, ur done, there are approximately 69 or 86 skill books if I can remember correctly
