Hue frowned in astonishment. Such a question was so foreign to his ears.
"I love you very much," he revealed. "When have I lied about this truth?"
Jennet did not reply to him. How sure was he about his feelings for her? Wasn't that only a farce that he created to fool her in the later days? She had enough share of sadness; getting her heart broken by those she loved and trusted the most!
She turned to her other cheek and hurriedly washed the glass and then left the kitchen with mixed feelings.
"Honey!" Hue grabbed her wrist and spun her body around.
Their eyes met but he saw only sadness in her eyes. He has not seen the expression for quite some time now, and to be looking at it again was causing him to be restless.
"Honey, please tell me what's wrong?" he asked. "I notice your mood is dwindling after you met Gomi. Did something happen?"
Jennet tugged her hand and stayed a step away from him.
