Hue was glad to know it wasn't a man that called. From her voice, he deduced that she was in her twenties.
“Jennet is currently taking a bath. But, how may I help you?” he spoke politely with a big smile on his handsome face.
“Who are you?” the woman asked instead of answering his question. Her tone turned colder instantly.
“I am Hue Hedo and I am Jennet’s husband. But, to whom am I talking?” Hue wasn’t aware of the coldness in her tone. He was too happy to notice it.
“That’s not important!” the woman replied harshly with a scoff.
Hue paused. “…Oh, okay. I’ll remember your name properly, Dadsnoteimportant.”
“Tell Jennet to read the message in her inbox.” Then, the woman ended the call before Hue managed to say anything to her.
