Case 1.01

Gino readied his mind, there was more embarrassment coming his way.

The elevator stopped again on the first floor. The doors opened, and two officers appeared behind the door. They were about to step inside, but Lix's presence stopped them halfway in the air.

"Good morning officers," Gino greeted them, dying with embarrassment inside.

The officers were alarmed when they saw her. Lix had quite a notorious reputation at the station, and not many would dare to get their guard down around her.

"Mornin~" One of them feebly greeted back to Gino and tried to step inside.

"This one is occupied, now buzz off, " Liz growled at them.

"Yes, Ma'am!," they shuddered. One last glance of pity at Gino, and they disappeared from their sight.

The doors closed. Once again, an awkward silence surrounded them until they reached the basement and Lix removed her hand from on top of his shoulder. Gino stood up and dusted the folder and his clothes.

Lix took out her car key and pressed a button on the remote. A driverless black car piloted itself and stopped in front of them. She sat in the driver's seat and opened the door for Gino, her eyes still avoiding him.

He sat inside, and wondered what was wrong with her. That was when he realized something. If what he thought was true, then he would get to see a rare and funny occurrence.

Instead of heading towards the exit, Lix drove towards an isolated part of the parking lot and parked the car in a blind spot. She breathed deeply with her nose maintaining a focus on her wavering mind.

Gino's constant staring made it harder for Lix to turn her head towards him. He already had a cheeky smile on his face, which she saw from the corner of her eye.

"Is there anything you want to tell me?," he asked, poking the case folder in her upper arm.

"Umm... I... think I may have been a bit overboard.," turning her head towards him, she tried looking him in the eye.

"Yes, you definitely were. And?..."

"So, you get it right. What I am trying to say?"

"Nope, what is it you want to say?" He asked, even though he knew what she wanted to say. This was the Lix who hates to apologize even when she is in the wrong, but on Gino's demand she is trying to put her thoughts into words and say 'sorry', at least to him.

Gino always found it hilarious when the scary and ever so perfect personality of Lix struggled to apologize. As a rule, she can't let the other Lix apologize on her behalf, so no matter how long it took, she wanted to show him that she respected everything he wished for.

"I am S...S...So... Darn it"

"Come one try again.," Gino teased her and took out his phone.

Lix was frustrated by her inability to apologize. She gripped the steering wheel so hard that it squeaked.

["I am S...S...So... Darn it"]

"Hahahaha...haha... " Gino laughed aloud after replaying her audio recording. Lix was annoyed, both by the fact that she couldn't say the 'sorry' word again and also because Gino mocked her for that. "At least you made it to the first two letters this time... only three more to go. Hahahaha"

That was it for Lix, her apologetic nature had dissipated completely, and it was turning into her usual vicious self. By the time Gino noticed this change, he was already late.

Like a spider shooting its web, Lix's palm latched onto his face, pressing him hard against the window glass.

"Well... It looks like you are having fun." She looked him in the eye, and there was a mischevious smile on her face.

"....Mmm..m..m" He tried to speak something, but her palm covered his mouth, intentionally not allowing him to speak.

"Now it's your turn to apologize... come on, say, sorry."

"MmMMmmHH..." Gino was stuck in a weird position, his fingers barely reaching the seatbelt buckle to unlock it, but it wasn't opening, instead the seat belt got tighter around his torso fixing him to the seat.

Lix glanced towards his thumb pressing hard on the buckle, and it was her turn to laugh.

"Ah! I guess I never told you this, but I modified this seat just for you, you know? For safety reasons of course. But I didn't know this could be useful in situations like these too." Lix unbuckled her seatbelt and moved closer to his face, her red and black hair and the dim lighting made her look even more vicious than she was. Gino's head was still pinned to the window glass.

He got his right-hand free which was stuck behind his back until now and tried to get her hand off his face.

"I am still waiting" she declared as her free hand pulled Gino's right hand and pinned it to the window beside his face. Gino started to get tense, he felt as if the situation was getting out of control, or maybe it had already been.

"MmmHmhmmm"

"If you won't then, I most probably will end up doing something bad with you, out of anger of course." Lix brought her feminine face even closer than earlier. Gino could smell the strong smell of perfume oozing out from her neck as her soft wet lips and hot breath brushed his ear, "No one will ever know what happened here."

Her words sent chills straight down his spine. From his many experiences, he could tell that play time was over and now things were heading the wrong way.

Lix tilted his head a bit towards her right, stretching the other side of his neck. She skimmed her nose on his exposed neck, sniffing his body odor, which aroused her even more. Gino felt a tickle on his neck, but he wasn't smiling, the air conditioning was turned on, but sweat still formed on his forehead.

The next thing Gino felt was a mixture of warm, wet and pain. Lix bit and sucked a sweet spot on his neck. Her motive was as clear as ever. Roughly a minute later, Gino ended up with a fresh and hot purple-red hickey. It stung and throbbed, his breathing became ragged.

"You know?, I really, really missed you." Loneliness flickered in her eyes and her face was no longer that of a beast.

Gino thought that she was going to release him after giving him a hickey, but no, she continued from where she last stopped.

Lix's fingers pressed his cheek bones still preventing him from speaking. Gino made muffled sounds constantly but now it was just like back ground music. She sucked and nibbled his earlobe. Forming a trail of soft wet kisses she went down on his neck. And then, her grip loosened for a brief second, and that was all he wanted.

In an abrupt movement, Gino jerked his head towards his left, away from her face. It took Lix by surprise as she struggled to maintain her hold on his face, further loosening her grip on his pinned right hand.

The moment her grip loosened on his wrist, he pulled his right hand, and it came out free. Immediately he pulled the lever by his seat and the backrest lowered until it lay flat down. He was completely out of Lix's hands, but the seat belt was still keeping him fixed to the seat.

*cough*

"Ahh! Enough. Not now Lix." Gino grunted.

"Haha.., Looks like you are more eager to get laid." Lix mocked as she crawled from the driver's seat to the passenger seat.

Placing her knees in between his parted thighs, the tall woman removed her black blazer before she went down on him. Her hands rested beside his arms as she lowered her head to kiss him.

Gino continuously told her to stop, but she took no note of it. He wrapped his legs around her upper waist.

For a moment, Lix felt aroused as his legs gripped around her, but soon she was tossed outside the door by his legs.

Just in case, Gino had already unlocked the door using his right hand when it was stuck behind his back, and he thanked himself for that.

Before Lix could recover, Gino had already closed the door with his leg and locked it back using his right hand. He raised the backrest and breathed a sigh of ease as Lix banged on the door outside.

The car was bulletproof, and Gino saw a live demonstration of it when Lix shot at the door handle and the window.

One more fact, the car was not soundproof because Gino could hear Lix yelling at him to open it.

"Gino~ I am really sorry, I was just joking. Now please open, we have to solve a case right?," after a few minutes of yelling, her expression softened, and she became apologetic and rubbed her index finger on the window glass beside Gino's cheek.

Gino looked at her with pitiful eyes. It's been a week since they last met, and he knew that Lix missed him and wanted to express her love for him, despite it being a little rough.

They stared affectionately at each other in the dim parking lot. Bit by bit, their faces came closer. Lix pressed her palm on the glass. Following her, Gino placed his hand on the opposite side of hers.

Lix smiled. A warm smile, like the warmth she felt on her palm.

Gino smiled, but not the one Lix expected. His lips stretched and curved, exposing his clean teeth and gums, making his eyes narrow, and in the end, a teasing villainous grin appeared on his face and the unexpected left Lix stunned.

"Hahahahaha... Did you really think I will open this door?" He laughed out loud, Lix stood there stupefied as she felt cheated by him.

Lix punched, kicked and cussed at the door, whereas Gino tried to unlock the seat belt.

He couldn't find any button close to him to open it. So he pulled the lever below his seat to slide his seat back. The seat belt loosened and Gino slid onto the back seat and then onto the driver's.

The car key fob was still inside, so Gino showed it to her, sticking his tongue out. A peeved Lix began shooting at the dented window. He was going all out today to piss her off because normally it was the other way around.

Gino couldn't stay there any longer, he opened the file to see where the 'Third Eye Kitty' was last seen. He set the destination for 'Hiris City Annual Science Exhibition' and gave an acceleration to get Lix's attention.

She peeked inside from the cracked glass. Gino wore her sunglasses like a show-off, cranked up an upbeat music, and gave her a last victorious smile before he changed gears to driving mode.

"See Ya"

The car accelerated a few meters, and then, it rose above the ground, stopping in midair.

"Why now?" Gino slammed his hands on the steering wheel in annoyance. It looked like he already knew why the car was stuck midair.

"Hey sister, do you think we are right on time?" A girl with white hair stepped by Lix's right.

"You Bet!" A girl with Black hair stepped by Lix's left.
