Xia Wan Reprimanded

When Xia Wan left the guest house, she looked very somber and seemed to be full of worries.

Lin Chao retrieved Xia Wan's cloth bag containing silver needles from the security office and handed it to her, then said, "Don't be too burdened mentally. If you really don't know how to explain to your family, maybe I can help you come up with an excuse?"

Xia Wan gestured for Lin Chao to be quiet for a while and fell back into deep thought.

After sending Xia Wan home, Lin Chao's car quickly departed.

Entering her house, Xia Wan ran into Xia Chen.

"Wanwan, you're finally back! Are you okay?" Xia Chen held Xia Wan's arms, looking her up and down.

Xia Wan shook her head, tiredly saying, "I'm fine, just very tired. I want to go back to sleep for a while."

Seeing that Xia Wan indeed seemed very tired, Xia Chen let go of her hands, allowing her to go rest.

As soon as she lay down on the bed, Xia Wan's phone rang.
