"If you had done your duty as my daughter. I would never have had to say that to you."
"What do you want?" She asked.
She didn't care for whatever reasons he had for what he said to her, she just wanted to know why he was here. It couldn't be good.
He squinted his eyes at her. Mauve frowned, she didn't like the fact that he was towering over her but she didn't want to move from her comfortable position on the bed.
"That's no way to speak to your Father," he said, his tone a bit lowered.
"What do you honestly want? You made me marry a vampire and now you say it's a bad idea. How is it a bad idea all of a sudden?"
"Vampires can't be trusted," he said vehemently.
Mauve frowned, "They attack the kingdom, kidnap as many of us as possible. I think that's enough indication that they couldn't be trusted but you were willing to marry me off to them and now you don't want me to go back."
