The next day, some time after the first meal.

"Your arm is healed, princess." Jean announced with a bright smile. "Well, outwardly."

Mauve nodded, all of the tiny scabs had fallen off and the red scars looked back at her. The three lines were easier to look at now that they were completely healed.

Mauve is sitting on her bed while the physician sits across her on a chair that Mill had moved to that position.

The physician was leaning forward as he stared at Mauve's arm while Mill stood about two feet away, holding the light to the scars.

The window was opened and some moonlight streaked into the room, highlighting the wooden boards and some of the items on the bedside table.

Jean pulled away from Mauve and stretched out his hand to pick up his bag that laid on the table. He couldn't reach and Mill had to lift it for him.

"Thank you," he mumbled as he rustled in his bag and brought out a container.
