Jael took his time as he made his way to the drawing room. He had a bad feeling about whatever it was Lord Garth wanted to talk to him about. These Lords were a constant pain to deal with and he thought he would be done with them by now.
He came down the last set of stairs and turned to the right. He took a couple of steps forward and came to his destination. The doors were slightly open and light seeped out of them. Jael pushed the doors and walked in.
"Sire," Lord Garth rose from the chair, pulling his mate up with him.
"Lord Garth," Jael said stiffly. "I hope you did not have to wait too long."
"No, Sire. We only just got here."
Jael walked past them and sat on the opposite couch but Lord Garth and his mate Lady Arora remained on their feet.
"Do have your seats," Jael said and pointed to the lounge they had been sitting on before he walked in.
