Nero Bride

Some Time Later,

Tempest Capital City,

Galahad POV,

Galahad sat in the hot springs drinking some brandy he had 'taken' from Rimuru without telling him, it wasn't stealing! He replaced it with brandy of his own creation so it wasn't stealing! He yawned, "This is....comfortable." nothing much happened over the past few months except for Rimuru building up Tempest even more.

He looked at Testarossa who was standing behind him quietly, "Ara~ Master such an intense gaze." she said playfully making Galahad sigh and shake his head, it wasn't intense Testarossa was just too into teasing people. Testarossa pouted, nothing worked on him hell he never even got flustered! Back to topic, the war was now almost here. Today was the day Carrion's representatives would arrive in Tempest followed by Rimuru leaving for Dwargon and the eventual attack on Tempest.

Galahad yawned and slightly smiled, things would be getting interesting again. What? Live this long and you're bound to get bored no matter who you are. Shaking his head he stood up and walked out leaving behind a Testarossa who was breathing heavily, she slapped her cheeks, "Got too excited it seems." she said and followed behind him, she can't be blamed for it!

A few minutes of walking or as it was dragging himself through the city Galahad eventually came across Hakurou who was teaching some of the goblins, he had taken up that duty so of course he was. But, his training was quite harsh from what Galahad could see. He tapped his shoulder, "Would you...have a spar...with me?" he asked curiously, Galahad too was a swordsman and as such had a certain degree of pride in his skills.

Other than that he was bored too. Hakurou looked at him with slight surprise in his eyes before smiling, it was obvious to him that Galahad too was a swordsman but he never showed it so he couldn't be sure but this confirmed it. He nodded, "Of course Lord Galahad." he said backing away, a duel against him was the best thing he could ask for!

Gobta who was being trained smiled and bowed gratefully, "Thanks, you saved my skin." he said before backing away, he wasn't going to get caught up in one of this demon's fights! "You two are gonna fight?" he asked from a safe distance receiving nods. It was certainly sudden but this is how it usually goes. After going over the rules for a few minutes both of them got ready.

Galahad drew two swords, not katanas he wasn't a fanboy, two western swords and got into a stance, since he had two sword type noble phantasms he settled with a two sword style for himself. Of course it was of his own creation and focused on delivering precise and quick strikes. Hakurou drew his own katana before getting serious, taking them lightly is the greatest disrespect you can show to a swordsman though Galahad was doing just that, but it was fine! Nobody noticed anyway.

With that the duel started in an isolated part of the city, the only people watching were Gobta and some of the other Goblin Riders as well as Youm who was being taught by Hakurou too.

Throughout the duel, Galahad would only make slight movements to dodge attacks sent his way or block them with one sword while attacking with the other, not swings or swipes. He was literally just using a broader one to deliver heavy strikes and to block, the role Arondight usually played and the other thinner one was being used for thrusts, he was thrusting the sword forward like a spear at blinding speeds.

His stance had no holes in it, any delivered strikes would be blocked and then there was the constant onslaught of sword thrusts which only left room for blocking. Youm rubbed his eyes, "How is this guy matching Teach?" this was unbelievable! His teacher was being pushed back in terms of skill! Wasn't this guy supposed to be.....weak? Gobta smirked, "I knew something was up." there was no way someone who could stick around that Loli was weak!

Testarossa smiled smugly, "As expected of my Master." while her servitude may have started only a decade ago she knew from the other maids that Galahad had honed his skill with the sword over millennia, there was now way anyone could outclass him in that department and that was the truth!

Eventually the fight came to an end, Hakurou had a sword right next to his neck ready to lop his head off while another was pointed at his forehead, it would simply pierce through killing the Kijin. Hakurou chuckled and sheathed his sword, "It appears I've lost." he said smiling a bit, this was a spar and he lost....but he wasn't frustrated. This meant that there were people around stronger than him and that he still needed to work hard if he wanted to be the best swordsman!

Galahad dissipated the swords as the people watching started clapping, "Don't worry...it isn't your...fault." he said slightly smiling and patting Hakurou's shoulder who flinched, that was disrespectful but Galahad continued, "Your skills are....worthy of praise...just work harder." he said smiling and backing off. Hakurou nodded at him, this meant his skills were recognized and that was enough.....only after a month would he realize how much weight Galahad's recognition actually held.

"Woah! Galahad beat him!" Gobta said surprised and excited, someone actually beat Hakurou! He looked at Galahad and was about to say something but a dangerous aura locked on to him making him immediately shut up. Hakurou put a hand on his shoulder and dragged him off, he was going to make up for his loss by beating Gobta!

Youm walked over to him and scratched his head, "I didn't think you were that strong. Sorry for thinking about you as a weakling." he said a bit embarrassed, he had always thought Galahad was a weakling which is why he now felt the need to apologize for his actions. Galahad just waved his hand dismissing it, "Don't worry...." he said lazily walking off, not like it really mattered. Galahad was someone who didn't care about people's opinions unless it benefitted him in some way.

Testarossa walked behind him while nodding her head, "Good job Master." she said gracefully, anything he did she would praise him for it, that too was her job. Galahad slightly nodded, that was interesting and even fun, maybe a few duels once in a while aren't that bad. It did alleviate his boredom too, with that he made his way back to his mansion where another headache was waiting for him.

Outskirts of Tempest,

Galahad's Mansion,

Galahad POV,

Galahad sat on his couch and yawned, he wanted to sleep or something up to the point where Falmuth finally declares war on Tempest because there was a pain in the ass here. Nero goddamn Claudius or as she was calling herself Nero Bride. She changed into her Nero Bride attire several days after becoming a True Hero as for why? Well according to her, "I felt like it!"

That in itself wasn't really a problem the fact that she changed Master to 'Darling' was a problem, a big one. He was too lazy for any romantic relationships and as such he couldn't do anything except reject her.....but that too backfired like a nuke because her efforts increased several folds after that. The Roman Emperor dragged him out of the mansion on several occasions to just hang out somewhere. (A/N: Anyone who has Nero Bride should understand why.)

In FGO terms a maxed out Bond was what she had with him, understandable since it had been almost 50 or 60 years together now and thanks to her he now even had the Imperial Privilege (EX) which was an amazing deal if you ask him. Galahad sighed and drank some wine, her own beloved people betrayed her due to some corrupt ministers and that was very...pitiful.

The Umu Empress was his subordinate so he mostly went along with some of her whims, in a small attempt to help her with that but it had turned into this. Well he would keep their relationship as it was, she can do whatever she wants Galahad would just keep an eye out for anything extreme. That was because he at his core was never a 'good' person and he was fully aware of that but for him, "Heroes....are overrated." those people were simply hypocrites but enough on that.

The doors burst open as a wild Nero barged in, "I cooked food for you!" she said excitedly holding a tray in her hands before setting it down and looking on intently, "Go ahead." she said smiling brightly, she wanted to see him eat and praise her food! A bride needs to be able to do that! Umu!

Galahad yawned and straightened up, "Nero....we need to...discuss something." he said, this idea just randomly popped up in his mind but why not hand the Siltrozzo kingdom over to her, granted it is small but it was still an entire country. She had been begging him for a place to set up her Empire, this would allow him to gather a good fighting force as well. The Roman Legionnaires from the Fateverse, definitely not a force to be underestimated.

"I found place...for Rome." he said slightly smiling as Nero went slack jawed, her reactions were amusing to watch because of how over the top they were. "How could?" he really did listen to her! What a great man to provide a place to set up her empire once more! "Umu! You are indeed worthy!" she said excitedly kissing him before running off leaving behind a surprised Galahad, ...seriously this roman emperor was a handful. Also she didn't even listen for details!
