Galahad looked at what was supposed to be the Kingdom of Falmuth right now and started walking towards it, maybe he could just find the same inn and stay there, the food was good so were the rooms and he told the owner that he'd come in again why not just go? He was definitely going there.....for the pillows. He covered his eyes from the Sun and looked at the City some sort of commotion was going on, He lazily asked, "You guys know anything?" both of them shook their heads. They had been basically isolated for months so none of them knew about what was happening.
A FEW MINUTES EARLIER,
At the City Gates,
A soldier sitting on the gate yawned, he was bored with simply nothing to do and simply keep watch for any approaching threats he hoped something like an incident would happen so that he could at least be rid of this boredom. The individuals placed as guards rank higher in strength than normal civilians this fact was especially true for the Kingdom of Falmuth, this was given more emphasis after the attack a few years back. Another soldier with the same duty as him tapped his shoulder and pointed in a certain direction, with an unsure voice he said, "Hey doesn't that armor look familiar?". He was a bit surprised and stood up to see what the guy was talking about, he himself would be around B-rank in human terms as such his eyesight was much more superior to a normal human's.
He saw a single teenager walking towards the city with two girls walking behind him, but that wasn't important! "I feel like I've seen or heard of him before." he muttered racking his brain to recognize the approaching person, maybe it was someone with a bounty that was why he looked familiar. "So both of us do? Coincidence? I think not!" the other one said, only to get smacked in the back of the head, "Be serious!"
"Right sorry, wait.....that armor, that face, the white hair, those eyes..." This time the other soldier was contemplating something, "Eww...Didn't know you were into guys." he said after all that much detail isn't necessary and that way of saying it. However the other didn't pay attention to him, "Oh my God I think I know why he looks familiar." the other said to him said to him confusing him, "Hmmm why?" he said but the other guy already had wide eyes, "It's the Hero." This time it was his turn to be surprised and as he looked at the guy once more everything clicked into place and his eyes widened again. It really was him, everyone knew about the stories and had heard about him after all it had only been several months since the Demon Lords announced themselves and him.
"Let's tell the others." he said excitedly and ran off to tell the others before anyone could stop him, news of Galahad's arrival spread and within minutes almost everyone knew of it at least everyone in the area because the city itself was very large of course a message was sent to notify the King as well after all this was no small thing. People waited in anticipation of humanity's so called 'New Hero', while the guards and soldiers straightened themselves not wanting to disrespect their kingdom.
WITH GALAHAD,
A few minutes of walking and Galahad had already arrived at the city gates, of course he had a bag of pebbles with him in case some guard tried to pull the same thing, some would say he could just kill the guy but they need to remember that he is not someone who likes wanton killing or killing itself but he would definitely do it if it served some purpose to him or was more efficient to him, causing a commotion by being an idiot and killing someone at the gates would just result in him having to kill more people which in turn would waste more time than he would save.
He looked around wondering what was going on, they had opened the city's main gates rather than the smaller ones and soldiers were lined up along them, the streets were filled with curious people. He shrugged and walked on maybe a noble or something was coming along or Guy released his looks as well and it could be the most troublesome thing possible, his lips twitched that goddamn asshole! He knew this would annoy him. A soldier presumably someone of higher rank than normal considering his somewhat lavish armor ran over to him and saluted, "It is an honor to meet you, Sir!" not every day you get to meet a bonafide Hero and not some rambling drunk. Galahad hearing his words looked up at the sky and gave a dry laugh do they hate him lazing around that much?
He nodded listlessly at the soldier and kept walking as the soldiers started banging their weapons announcing his arrival. Galahad covered his ears, "When did I ask for this?" those were not pleasant sounds, sure they sound good when you go into battle but this was him just coming in and not something big, according to him. Vert went near him and whispered, "Shall I kill everyone here, Master?" He lazily glanced at her, that sounded very enticing but, "No....it causes too many long term complications...." and kept walking ignoring the looks of awe and respect he was getting from the people gathered around him.
He continued to lazily drag himself through the place as people started cheering for some reason, the reason is that he tried to move the hair back from his eye and that appeared like a typical ikemen move making them cheer. People discussed among themselves while there were those who criticized his lazy appearance but he simply did not give a **** about that and kept walking. A girl shouted, "Give me your babies!" He took a double take on that one, "Okay what?" he said but seeing he was ignored just sighed and kept moving, failing to notice the two behind him who were fuming in anger at that last one. Bleu raised her hand, "I'll go kill that bitch.", she was very angry at that remark after all if one of them wasn't worthy how could a mere human be? she thought. Vert held her back, "Not now." causing Bleu to look at her confused, "Later." and both of them started silently laughing.
A few minutes of walking later, Galahad came face to face with the King again for the first time in a few years, the old man's appearance was a bit disheveled as for the reason? Well as soon as he heard of Galahad's arrival he had rushed here after all more than anyone he was grateful to him for saving his Kingdom one or two hundred gold coins could never compensate for that after all they could just earn them back, if the Kingdom was still there that is and he perfectly understood that. "Greetings, Galahad!" he said loudly as if they were old friends surprising the people, their King and the Hero were talking casually? even though Galahad hadn't said anything.
He lightly chuckled, the old bastard was still using him for political gain even after all this, "I see you're still...the same." Galahad said yawning. The King laughed, "Of course!" Galahad nodded at him, he didn't necessarily mind the King's actions after all they didn't hinder him in any way and he was too lazy to get angry at being used like that. Galahad lightly smiled, "I suppose you want me to come.....to the castle?" The King smiled widely seeing that Galahad understood him and signaled to one of the men who brought forth a horse. Galahad pointed at the two behind him, "What about them?"
The King's gaze fell on the two extremely beautiful maids who were currently looking like they wanted to murder somebody, well they did but that's not important. "Hmm... they can accompany me in the carriage." after all ladies were to be treated with delicacy moreover they were important guests and they didn't really look like they would know how to ride a horse. Galahad nodded in understanding and walked towards the horse assigned to him but before going he patted the King's shoulder, "I hope you don't try anything....for your own sake seriously." after all if he did this city would be wiped off the map now don't mistake he was too lazy to do that just that Primordial Demons were extremely prideful and would do that as a sort of revenge. Galahad went back and told them about it and after a bit of objection they accepted before they set off towards the Royal Palace.
On the way there many people stared at him in awe while they didn't know about it as the news hadn't spread they were able to connect the dots soon enough with Galahad's unique appearance and the protocol he was being given. Galahad fell asleep on his horse more than one time only waking up when he was about to fall off and grab at it's reins like a retard. Reaching the Palace with it's own set of walls to separate the common people from those of status, Galahad looked at it with a bit of admiration, just a little bit it was lavishly designed showing just how wealthy this Kingdom actually was after all not everyone can afford to line the walls with actual gold. At first he doubted it but Appraisal proved that it indeed was actual real Gold.
The guards there saluted the King as they passed and gave him looks of respect while there would be the eventual dirty apple that looked at him in jealousy most of it was respect and admiration. Finally reaching the palace the heavy gates to the throne room were opened and he walked in staring in a bit of awe at how much of a pirated copy of a Victorian castle throne room this one looked like, he wondered what the British would do if they saw this maybe they'd be happy at their culture being present in another world? Meh, he was too lazy to think about such unnecessary things.
The King went and sat on his throne with various nobles discussing among themselves and observing him closely. "Wait.....why am I here in the first place?" Galahad muttered to himself and nodded, going with the flow is never good. He yawned and rubbed his eyes looking closely at the gathered nobles, if knowledge from anime and movies was anything to go on they were most of the time rotten to the core.
