I wake up smiling, I roll over to see it was 6:30

"I should go for a run" I jump up, I walk over to my dresser grabbing a pair on my Adidas leggings and blue Nike sports bra and change from my pj shorts and oversized shirts

I finish changing and grab my white Nike air rally sweater and my light pink Adidas beanie, I slip in my sweater and place my beanie on my head, I grab a pair of socks slipping them on and grabbing my Adidas runners

I hear my phone go off

I put my phone down tying my laces up I decide to make a smoothie so I am not running on an empty stomach

I grab my frozen berries and my blender I put the fruit in and grab my almond milk and adding a splash

I walk to the door opening it to reveal Jay

"What you change your mind?" He laughs as I let him in "no I didn't want to run on an empty stomach so I was making a smoothie, want one?" I ask turning the blender on

"Sure" he says leaning on my marble counter, I grab the bag of frozen berries and the milk and pour the smoothie I had in the blender into a cup and put more berries and milk in

"So Kennedy how are you this fine morning?" Jay asks grabbing the cup "I am doing good, i had a good sleep I have a half shift today so I don't go in till 2 p.m and I get off at 11" I say turning the blender on

After we finish our smoothies, I grab my phone and the arm case tighten it around my upper arm and placing my phone in it gently

"Ready?" Jay asks making sure his laces were tightened "yup" I smile zipping up my jacket

We walk out of my apartment building and start running

"So Kennedy happy to be back in Chicago?" He says slowing down "it's good, I am happy to be back with my brother and sister"  I smile as we slow down

We start walking now as we near the coffee shop

"So Kennedy what's it like being related to Antonio and Gabriella Dawson?" He asks opening the door

"Hectic!" I say laughing "but God growing up is was..." I add as we get in line

"Crazy?" He says moving up a step laughing

"no but yes, but what I was going to say was nice always having someone there growing, someone who would have your back" I say smiling
