Forget Me

Two of Arthur's personal assistants were assigned to guard in front of Luna's room so that she would not escape from the mansion before the wedding ceremony took place, while the other three assistants stood guard in the courtyard of the mansion.

Luna was locked in a room like a princess who was locked up in a castle because she was going to be married off to a foreign prince from another country. She didn't stop crying and couldn't do anything, but wait until the wedding day.

All the household assistants of the Arthur family were busy preparing special food and drink for Luna. Two cooks cooked a very delicious and fragrant meal, they thought Luna would eat all the dishes they made. How could an elegant and very beautiful woman like a star goddess be able to enjoy a meal when her heart was agitated?

In a country very far from where Luna lived, a handsome, authoritative, intelligent, and charming man seemed busy doing something at his desk. When he came home from work, he went straight to his room, took out his laptop, then opened the important files he had stored on the laptop. He had not had time to read some of the messages Luna had sent him.

Not long after, his phone vibrated several times. Robert stopped his activities for a moment, he grabbed his cell phone and answered the call from his mother.

"Hello, Robert. Where are you? Still at the office or back at the apartment?"

"Hello, Mom. I am at the apartment, Mom, said Robert with a faint smile as his eyes stared at the laptop screen.

"Son, next week Mom and Dad will have your sister's engagement ceremony. Can you attend the event?"

Robert frowned, he was surprised when his mother told him that his sister was getting engaged within the next week, "I don't know if I can be there or not. I have been very busy lately, Mom. By the way, who is the lucky man who will be my brother-in-law?"

"Hmm ... he is .. he is your best friend, George."

"George?? Do you mean George Alexander is my college friend??"

"That's right, Robert. He is George Alexander, we purposely didn't tell you this beforehand because your relationship has been strained for the past few years. And also because Beverly already has a child with him."

"What?! Beverly already has a child from George?! What an asshole!" Robert was furious, his left hand clenched into a fist.

"Why don't they just get married?! Why do they have to get engaged first?!" continued Robert.

"That's because your sister wants to continue her studies abroad before marrying your best friend."

"You can't do that, Mom. Beverly must get married as soon as possible, she can't continue her studies abroad."

"It doesn't matter if Beverly wants to study in Japan, let us take care of your nephew."

"Son, are you still in touch with Luna?"

"Still. Why do you ask me that? Did father know that I was in a relationship with Mr. Arthur's daughter?'

"Your father doesn't know that you are in a relationship with Luna. Don't worry, Mom will lock my mouth tightly."

"Please keep my secret from anyone, I don't want Dad to do anything that can harm Luna and her family. I love her so much, I also want to be Luna's husband as soon as possible," Robert's tone sounded sad and heavy when he remembered Luna.

"Sure, I won't divulge your secret to anyone including George. Trust me. You should get married after your sister is engaged, what do you think?"

"I agree with you," Robert smiled faintly.

"Alright."

"Mom, I hung up. See you, Mom. I love you."

"See you too, Son. Love you so much."

Robert ended his conversation with Mrs. Ashton, then he went back to his work until 8 p.m. After finishing work, Robert relaxed for a while in his room while watching tv and replying to his lover's messages.

[Goodnight, Sweetheart. How are you today? I miss you so much, I also want to meet you soon.]

A moment later a text message came into Robert's cell phone, Luna's words in the message made Robert gasp.

[Honey, I am not fine. My parents are going to marry me off to a man I don't know.]

[What?? You will be married by your parents?? Why is everything like this all of a sudden?? When will your wedding be held?]

[Maybe next week.]

[Wait for me, Luna. I will come to meet you soon and propose to you. After I proposed to you, we got married in Seoul, ok.]

[You can't meet me and propose to me, Robert. Right now I am at my father's mansion, they are guarding me very strictly like guarding a prisoner.]

[I don't care, I will do anything for you as long as you are not side by side with another man. Should I kidnap you from your own home, then take you with me to Korea?]

[Don't do anything that will only harm yourself, Honey. You better find another woman and forget about me.]

Robert's tears slowly trickled down his face, he shrunk the tears with the back of his hand. Meanwhile at the mansion, Luna sat limply on the cold floor holding her cell phone and her chest felt tight.

Outside the room, the maid knocked on the door repeatedly calling for her lady. She carried a trolley on top of which there were various kinds of food complete with drink and fruit. Luna didn't pay attention to the maid, she stayed where she was with blank eyes.
