Nanny Meng had taken the job of taking care of Concubine Chu after her previous nanny gave up on her job and passed the baton to Nanny Meng. Back then Nanny Meng thought that the old woman seemed to have lost her head, after all, who would give up the chance of following after an imperial concubine.
