Chapter 414: If you want to chase the thrill, then follow it to the end! (Edited)

There are several large amusement parks in England, and after discussing it with Professor McGonagall, the Grangers decided on a large theme park that was close to them and had a good reputation in the country for its thrilling rides and even the "most thrilling roller coaster in Europe."

The Grangers had originally chosen another resort, but Professor McGonagall turned down the proposal when she learned that it doubled as a zoo.

Although Fish could now disguise himself as a normal person, Professor McGonagall decided to reduce the risk in the interest of safety, and since Fish was already fond of all sorts of exciting activities, he switched to this one.

Mr. Granger pulled out the tickets he had reserved and led the group into the amusement park.

"Minerva! It's bigger than Hogwarts! If you don't count the Forbidden Forest."

"Hermione, what's nya doing?"

"He's pretending to be a cartoon character, to guide visitors and sell things," Hermione explained. "Muggles can't do magic, so they impersonate animals like this."

"Oh... what about that one?"

The cat, curious for the first time about everything in the amusement park, kept asking questions, and Hermione patiently explained everything.

It was actually Hermione's first time at the amusement park, after all, she rarely went to the amusement park to do these exciting things, but after learning that she was coming to the amusement park today, Hermione had made some preparations early.

And here we are.

The three parents looked on happily, following the two leisurely.

They chatted until they reached the first amusement park facility.

"The specialty of this amusement park is roller coasters, there are six of them, the further you go the more thrilling they become, the first one is the most primitive and is said to be scarier than any other roller coaster in the park."

Hermione held up the map and explained it to Fish.

"Fish loves thrill rides."

But they were too early to be allowed to leave without a crowd, so Fish had to wait on the sidelines, as eager as he was.

Luckily, Hermione and Professor McGonagall had taught the cat to behave less rashly and, with Mrs. Granger's ice cream to calm him down, he didn't make a scene.

It was the summer vacations and there were still plenty of visitors at the amusement park, and before Fish had finished his ice cream, the park was already buzzing with activity, with visitors pouring through the gates, and it wasn't long before there were enough people to fill the carriage.

Fish ate his ice cream in one bite, so fast that Fish winced, as Hermione handed hers to Mr. Granger to keep.

The two boarded the roller coaster, sitting side by side in the front row, with Professor McGonagall and Mrs. Granger behind them and Mr. Granger off to put Hermione's ice cream away....

Well, it definitely wasn't his fear of heights that kept his from getting on the roller coaster.

"Isn't it open yet? hasn't it started yet?"

Fish grabbed the protective railing in front of him, wiggling his feet excitedly.

Soon, the roller coaster car filled up and slowly started, with Hermione nervously gripping the railing and Fish squirming in his seat with such excitement that, if Hermione hadn't told him, he would have wanted to jump off the railing and onto the front of the roller coaster.

Unfortunately, Fish's excitement didn't last long, and when the roller coaster plummeted down from the first peak, Fish felt no thrill....

The level of excitement was so trivial compared to the games he had played in the Forbidden Forest.

Not even Hermione or Professor McGonagall, who had been a starter on the Gryffindor quidditch team back in the day, had reacted too well to this level.

Hermione, on the other hand, had been on a flying broom and a hippogriff, and what had seemed so exciting to her before was now nothing more than that.

The three in front of the roller coaster, so carefree and even bored, were in stark contrast to the other screaming tourists, so much so that Mrs. Granger, after screaming for a while, calmed down because she didn't fit in with the three of them.

After a couple of minutes or so, the roller coaster returned to its starting position and Fish jumped off it with a grimace.

"This roller coaster is not exciting at all nya."

Professor McGonagall nodded approvingly, "Actually, it's a bit disappointing."

"I think... it's fine," Hermione reassured with a smile, "It's the first roller coaster after all, not bad for what it is."

The tourists next to them with weak hands and feet looked at these three people as if they were looking at monsters; From their calm appearance, they were definitely not trying to be brave.

In fact, from Fish's point of view, the roller coaster was not thrilling enough, but it was fun to go round and round in the air, and if you encountered it normally, you might get bored of it a few more times.

In this case, however, Mrs. Granger had raised the cat's expectations at the amusement park to the max, and it was only natural that Fish would be disappointed to find that the roller coaster didn't live up to his expectations.

Besides, it wasn't as if Fish had never played a similar ride before; the Hogwarts pipe leading to the Chamber of Secrets was no less complicated than the roller coaster.

The trio's conversation was not muted, and while the other visitors were in awe, it also drew a few stares from the roller coaster staff.

It was the first time they had encountered visitors like Fish since they had decided to focus on thrill rides, and even the more daring ones were too excited to say that their roller coaster was boring....

If it wasn't for the feeling that the young man looked very friendly, the roller coaster staff should go up and have a good chat with him.

Mr. Granger bought a sugar candy, calmed the cranky cat, and led the group further in.

Because this amusement park focuses on thrills, it does not organize some more relaxing projects like other amusement parks to allow tourists to transition. The relay roller coaster is directly the pirate ship.

Then.

Fish found it even more boring.

The roller coaster spins more or less in the air, doing difficult maneuvers and so on, the pirate ship just swings back and forth, and instead of feeling the thrill, Fish felt a little sleepy....

However, the bumper car attraction was the next event that renewed Fish's interest in the amusement park.

The bumper cars were, frankly, small cars to fight in, and one of Fish's biggest hobbies was finding people to fight with, so if Quidditch hadn't had all those various rules and had been limited to the Sluggers attacking each other, Fish would have been interested.

Next, Fish and the others tried the other attractions, and as before, the pirate ship and the jumping machines and other thrill seekers were pretty boring for the cat, after all, there's nothing like jumping off a thestral at full speed...bungee jumping with a rope.

The haunted house is a bit of fun, but, of course, Fish's approach is a bit different from the others.

The dark may scare people, but it's nothing to nocturnal creatures like cats, and Fish's fun is in finding the staff hiding in the haunted house.

The scares had no effect on the cat, but the carousel and bouncy castle were more popular with Fish, and even on the relatively boring Ferris wheel he could spend playing kissing games with Hermione.

As for the park's most famous roller coaster... Fish was disappointed.

The next roller coasters weren't much different, except that they were a little faster and the ride was changed.

So, after a long day of contention, the cat finally played the last roller coaster....

Anyway, the park wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be, so I'd better go home and watch TV!

The roller coaster started slowly and as he was about to climb the first peak, Fish secretly hit him with a [Leopard speed]....

The wind howled in his ears as the roller coaster descended at twice the usual speed.
