Chapter 407: Visit to the park (Edited)

As Hermione said, there were many children playing in the park not far away, and Fish, with a keen ear, could hear their fights from far away.

But...

But what caught Fish's attention most were the dogs and cats they had taken for a walk.

So the little cat, upon entering the park, howled unconsciously, "Nya~!"

(? `? ′?)

Just as at the Dursleys', all the cats and dogs near Fish meowed and barked in response, and the park was filled with the sounds of cats and dogs barking.

As Fish's cat meow spread far and wide, the birds in the park, in addition to the cats and dogs, chirped and chirped, and all flocked to his side.

Instantly, the park was thrown into confusion.

"Caesar! Stop! Stop!"

"Woof woof woof woof!"

"My little princess! Where are you going?!"

"Nya nya nya nya!"

"Look at the sky!"

"Mommy, why did all the pigeons fly away?"

"Coo-coo-coo!"

Thanks to his years of living as a human, Fish had unconsciously refrained from summoning snakes, rats, and other animals less popular with most people.

But even so, Fish and Hermione soon found themselves surrounded by all manner of animals, as well as some passersby who had been dragged away by large dogs.

"Hello nya!"

?(?ΦωΦ?)?

Fish was standing on a bench near the entrance to the park, cheerfully waving to the animals and humans around him.

Hermione, however, was completely dumbfounded at the scene and had no idea how it was going to end.

Professor McGonagall was also dumbfounded, she was so focused on reminding Fish not to use magic that she had forgotten that her cat was capable of commanding all sorts of animals at will....

"Ah... what a headache..."

Professor McGonagall took off her glasses and scrunched up the bridge of her nose.

However, while this scene was a bit of a problem, she could still solve it, and Professor McGonagall was now wondering whether to keep watching or dive in to fix it now and bring Fish and Hermione back.

After all, Fish had just left and it seemed a waste of time to bring him back now, while, after observing, it seemed that the situation was a bit beyond Hermione's capabilities.

Professor McGonagall thought about it for a moment, using a Muggle banishment spell on the outskirts of the park to keep things from getting worse, and then decided to see what the two little ones would do next.

"This... What's going on here?"

A few passersby being dragged by their pets looked on in amazement at the fantastic scene, and not far away there were a few passersby chasing their pets and panting, their faces also shocked.

What was even stranger was that they were obviously worried about their pets, but they couldn't help but turn their attention to the young man standing on the bench.

"Everyone come here, Fish is inviting you to eat nya!"

(?ΦωΦ?)?

The little cat jumped off the bench, opened his bag and waved to the animals around him, and the cats and dogs and pigeons and other birds bowed to him, seemingly in disarray, but not fighting with each other.

Hermione came to and went to help Fish share the food, all the while feigning surprise and raising her voice to say, "So you can really lure the animals in with snacks!"

"Nya?"

?ω?

Fish looked at Hermione in confusion, only to see her blinking frantically.

Although he didn't understand why Hermione was saying that, the cat remembered that Professor McGonagall had told him to go outside and listen to Hermione, so he didn't reply and went back to handing out food to the animals.

"How can... my Caesar, but...he came from.... the other side of the park... he ran here..."

Said a young woman with long black hair, who looked Fish's age, incredulously; her voice sounded breathless and her forehead was covered with beads of sweat; it was clear that the trip had not been easy.

"Are you all right? Drink something."

(●ΦωΦ●)つ

Fish approached the girl and gave her something to drink.

"Thank you..."

The girl's face turned red and she grabbed the drink with both hands, not caring about her dog, but asking for Fish, "Hi, my name is Naberal, you can call me Nael, what's your name? I don't think I've seen you before."

"His name is Fish, he's a guest of mine."

Hermione stepped in front of Naberal and answered aggressively for Fish.

Naberal frowned slightly as he glanced at the girl in front of him, he soon recognized Hermione, after all the Granger girl with the best grades was quite well known in the neighborhood.

Of course, to the kids, Hermione was nothing more than an unpopular nerd.

Naberal was trying to figure out how to get the nosy nerd out of her way when several more passersby came to their senses, men, women and children alike, rushing to Fish's side and trying to talk to him.

The two unsuspecting maidens were pushed aside by the others.

Naberal immediately abandoned Hermione, whom she did not consider a threat, and made her way through the crowd. Hermione, on the other hand, seemed very calm, after all she had already seen many scenes like this.

Fish was even more experienced in these situations, and he easily calmed the overexcited crowd, handing them snacks while instructing them to help him distribute the food among the animals.

Then a very strange scene appeared in the park, a silver-haired boy of 13 or 14, surrounded by a dozen people, and outside, 20 or 30 cats and dogs, and countless birds, all sharing their snacks in perfect harmony.

This unusual situation should have attracted more attention, but the strange thing was that, apart from the dozen or so people surrounding Fish, there were hardly any other people around, and from time to time people walked past the park without looking at them, and the people surrounded by the animals didn't seem to think anything was happening.

This could not have been achieved by Fish's affinity alone, it was all thanks to the confusion spell that Professor McGonagall had silently cast on all the other Muggles, causing them to unconsciously ignore the anomaly.

From Professor McGonagall's point of view, it was fine enough that Hermione had reacted as she had, but she couldn't go against Ministry rules and use magic in front of Muggles to solve problems.

After Professor McGonagall had used the confusion spell, Hermione had noticed and looked around; then her expression and tone of voice had relaxed considerably and she had continued talking without missing a beat and looking for opportunities to patch Fish up.

This pleased Professor McGonagall.

As for a certain kitten who was oblivious and kept showing the Muggles his ability to order animals around....

At least he wasn't using magic, right?

The invisible Professor McGonagall sighed softly, it looked like she wasn't going to be able to take Fish to the amusement park any time soon, and she would have to give her a good lecture when they got home.
