"Meow!" ?(=`Д′=)?
Fish pounced on an Acromantula again, this time aiming for the spider's eight eyes.
When dealing with difficult adversaries, you have to attack their deadly and vulnerable parts.
This is not something they teach you in fairy tales, but something Fish had learned from his previous fights and hunts.
The Acromantulas were too big and it would be ineffective to try to bite their necks or anything like that, and it's possible that even if he did bite their neck, he wouldn't be able to get through his opponent's hard shell, so exposed eyes were the best option.
Although Fish was invisible, and spiders had senses other than sight, it didn't matter.
The battle was about weakening the enemy and then finding the opportunity to kill it with a single blow.
"SQUEAK!!!"
The Acromantula attacked by Fish screamed in pain.
The eyes of most creatures are very fragile, and the Acromantula was no exception, as Fish's claws easily cut the Acromantula's eyes.
A dark green liquid gushed from the wound, which Fish dodged with ease, and then took the initiative and blinded all seven of the Acromantula's eyes, after which the Acromantula managed to break free, shrunk into a ball and began to roll around in pain.
"Click, click, click..."
The Acromantulas emitted several clicks with their pincers, communicating in a way Fish could not understand, and then raised two legs to protect their faces, while swinging their two long front legs, trying to strike at the invisible Fish.
But with Fish's dexterity, this was a futile effort.
Leaping into a nearby tree, Fish crouched on a branch and watched the Acromantulas waving their long legs, lost in thought.
He had just tried to claw at the spiders a couple more times, but, as before, he couldn't do any effective damage, not to the head or belly, not even to the leg joints at the risk of being hit, he could only do negligible damage.
Even when Fish grew its claws to their maximum length, they only deepened the claw marks a little, and the excessive length of the claws affected Fish's movement, which almost caused it to be hit by the spider's legs, causing Fish to withdraw its claws to their normal state.
'I guess I was wrong in estimating that it would be able to fight off five or six big spiders, but who would have thought their shells would be so hard? Aren't the stomachs of little spiders soft and wrinkly? How come they're as hard as rocks when they turn into big spiders? 'No! Much harder than a rock!' thought Fish.
Not that Fish hadn't encountered invincible opponents before, apart from Fluffy, who guarded the trapdoor, he had also encountered Graphorn and Snallygaster and other thick-skinned animals in the Forbidden Forest.
These were some of the few that Fish had not been able to defeat, but they had fought Fish alone, and ended up tied, so Fish had considered that he had lost.
But now it was different, he and the Acromantulas were not only fighting, but he was seeking revenge.
He had just blinded a spider and pulled out some black hairs... What kind of revenge is that?
So Fish wasn't about to give up just like that.
After pondering for a moment, Fish decided to try the human method: he transformed into his human form and then pulled out his wand.
"Petrificus Totalus!" (?ΦДΦ?)つ━☆?*.
A white light shot out from Fish's wand and hit a giant spider, but the spider only trembled slightly and kept waving its legs.
"Humans! There are humans!"
"Click, click, click, click, click..."
"The human is invisible too!"
"It's in the tree! It's in the tree!".
Because of the need to protect their eyes, the three spiders used human language to communicate, except for the one that was already blind.
Based on the direction of the white light, the spiders quickly pinpointed Fish's location and rushed toward the tree where he was.
Fish leaped into the air and pulled out of his magic bag the flying broom (for children) that Minerva had given him.
He had already discovered that spiders seemed to be able to locate their position based on the vibrations they made as they stepped on the ground, so as they flew through the air, they could not determine their position.
And because the broom was a child's model, it was small enough to cover with the invisibility cloak, so the spiders didn't notice.
Fish also has the ability to sense vibrations, and in his feline state his flesh pads can sense some vibrations from the ground, but not as far or as accurately as spiders.
Fish's ears pick up sound long before he senses vibrations, so although he has this ability, he almost never uses it, and even if he does sense vibrations, he doesn't pay much attention to it.
Unaware that Fish had left the tree, the spiders below pounced on him and broke the unfortunate tree with just a few blows.
"He's gone, he's gone!"
Noticing that Fish had not fallen with the tree, the four Acromantulas snapped their pincers several times angrily, then quickly shielded their faces.
Flying into the air, Fish thought about it and decided to try a different spell.
"Incendio!" (?ΦДΦ?)つ━☆?*.
As far as he remembered, almost all animals were afraid of flames, including himself, who often perched in front of the fireplace.
A crimson flame fell from the sky, igniting the black fur on the body of an Acromantula.
"Squeak!!!"
The Acromantula that had been ignited reacted just like the blind one before it, wrapping its eight legs around itself and flailing wildly on the ground.
At the same time, the other two spiders with their eyes intact crouched slightly and then jumped upward in Fish's direction (the child's flying broom doesn't fly very high).
Fish was quicker, however, as he spotted the two spiders while they were still gathering strength, and immediately jumped off the broom, tucking it back into his magic bag on the way down, before transforming back into his cat form.
The two huge spiders grazed the invisible Fish, but when he landed, the blind spider and the one that had put out his flames sensed his presence and pounced on him.
The advantage of his small size came into play as Fish easily dodged their attacks and jumped onto the blackened spider's back....
Although it was black per se, it had only darkened a little after being burned.
"It's on my back!"
The burned spider shouted to the other three companions.
Then.
Three pairs of hairy front legs slammed into its body mercilessly, making several dents in its back.
Fish had already jumped onto the back of another spider.
"Click, click, click..."
This time it was the blind spider, but instead of attacking her, the other three spiders climbed on top of her, as their long legs quickly came together, as if trying to wrap their bodies around Fish.
But with the bonus of the spells, Fish was much faster than them, and before they could get close, Fish had already escaped through a gap.
As it turned out, Fish couldn't do any effective damage to the Acromantulas, and the Acromantulas couldn't catch Fish.
So they ended up in a stalemate.
If only he knew those two Black Robed Monster spells....
Fish dodged the Acromantulas' attacks while remembering the spell the Black Robed Monster had used (Moment Fish fought Voldemort).
Although he knew the spells were "Shadowless Blade of God" and "Bombarda", it was useless not to know the details of the gestures used to cast the spells.
Fish was not the same Muggle who knew nothing about magic.
But what could he do?
Just when Fish was in a state of distress, an inexplicable knowledge appeared in his mind.

"Meow!"(=?ω?=)
That's it!
