Chapter 56: Fighting (Edited)

Neither Harry nor Ron regretted the fight, both had been wanting to give that pretentious egghead a good thrashing for some time.

Though in reality the two were the more injured this time due to their size and numbers, Harry and Ron had been targeting Malfoy, who they had focused on, so he was no better off than Harry and Ron, while Goyle and Crabbe were unharmed.

But as long as Malfoy had been taught a lesson, Harry and Ron were more than satisfied.

What's more, they also subtracted fifty points with Slytherin. Gryffindor had been at the bottom of the table since the beginning of the term, and all the twenty points meant was that it made the Gryffindor hourglass look a little better, not much more.

But Slytherin was a different story, without the fifty points, they were immediately overtaken by Ravenclaw....

I didn't know if this was intentional on Professor Flitwick's part, after all, he was not only the professor of the enchantment class, but also the dean of Ravenclaw.

After Madam Pomfrey's treatment, the five continued to glare at each other as they left the medical room.

Malfoy, who had suffered a great loss, stared at Ron for so long, almost making Harry think they were going to fight again.

Just as Harry nervously clutched his wand in his pocket, contemplating what to use for his first spell, Malfoy snarled and walked away with his two henchmen, whom Harry could faintly hear muttering something along the lines of "my father."

"Looks like our young master with the big brain is going to call his parents," Harry scoffed just as Ron did, pretending to be calm, with a hint of worry in his eyes, although he didn't know much about the wizarding world, he knew that the Malfoy's were a wealthy family with connections in the upper echelons of the Ministry.

"Don't worry, not even his father can do anything to my family," Ron sensed Harry's concern and spoke reassuringly, "It's true that our family is poor and that some pureblood families, like the Malfoy's, have called us traitors, but it's not something they can take lightly, and Dumbledore won't stand by and let them bully anyone."

The confidence in Ron's voice didn't sound like a lie, and the fact that he mentioned Dumbledore reassured Harry a little, before he began to reflect on the joy of having just taught Malfoy a lesson.

"Did you see how miserable Big Brain looked? To be honest, I've been wanting to kick his arse for a long time," Harry said happily.

"Hahahaha! Of course, I broke his nose," Ron said with a chuckle.

"I think Snape will deduct points from him when he comes back, because Snape won't recognize who he is! Hahaha!" said Harry, bursting out laughing.

"Yeah, yeah, he's so bruised and swollen he might not even be recognizable to his parents," said Ron.

Though they themselves were no better off than Malfoy himself, but that didn't stop Harry and Ron from laughing at Malfoy.

The two laughed and joked back to the Charms classroom, Harry and Ron strutted back to their seats like victorious generals, their heads held high as the rest of the class looked on in awe.

"What happened to them?" asked Seamus quietly as soon as Harry and Ron were seated, and the young wizards nearby pricked up their ears, while those a little further away talked and speculated about how the injuries had been done.

The class suddenly became a bit noisy.

Hermione, the only one trying to pay attention, frowned and shot a look of complaint at Harry and Ron.

Fish, who had been sleeping in his desk drawer as usual, was also awakened by the noise, his ears pricked up, then he smelled the scent of Scarhead, and not wanting to see him, Fish shifted at his desk, closed his eyes, and went back to sleep.

Professor Flitwick, who knew what was happening, coughed twice, and increased the volume of his voice with a spell, "Quiet!"

The commotion in the class gradually subsided.

"You two can borrow the other students' notes for what we covered earlier, then we will continue our study of the Spell..."

Professor Flitwick glanced around the classroom and finally settled on Harry and Ron, causing them to lower their heads sheepishly, before continuing with the previous lesson.

The class was quiet, but most of the students were not focused on their studies.

With the exception of Hermione and Fish, all the other students glanced at Harry and Ron from time to time.

After all, this was the biggest fuss the new students had made, apart from Fish, and it was only natural that the young wizards, who had only been at the school a short time, were too curious to resist.

If it had been in the senior year, especially the twins, it would not have been a surprise.

Time flew by as Professor Flitwick spoke, and when the incantation lesson was over, Harry and Ron were immediately surrounded by an impatient group of young wizards.

"What happened to them?"

"Did they get into a fight?"

"Is it Slytherin? How many points did they get deducted?"

It had been a short time since the plan proposed by Fish and carried out by the twins, so it was only natural that someone would make a connection between their situation and the plan.

Harry and Ron hadn't done it on purpose, but they had managed to drag Slytherin down with them by mistake.

"Meow?"

Even Fish approached curiously at the sight of the two's tragic situation, only his thoughts were a bit different....

Fish asked, "Redhead No. 4, did you beat up Scarhead for me?"(●?ω?●).

Ron, who was about to brag about his earlier guess, immediately stopped talking and turned his head towards Fish, only to see a pair of big green eyes staring back at him.

Without even thinking about it, Ron hurriedly replied, "That's right, it's because Harry made you mad, that's why I hit him!"

Harry: "..."

"Meow, you're such a nice guy, red-headed No. 4!", Fish patted Ron on the shoulder and then looked at an embarrassed looking Harry.

"Actually... I'm not particularly mad at you, meow!"

Looking at Harry's bruised and battered face, Fish scratched his cheek and politely decided not to be angry with Scarhead.

Harry, who was about to punch Ron, swallowed his words, then patted his chest and said, "This little wound is nothing!"

Harry touched his wound as he said this, causing him to grimace again.

Once the pain had subsided a bit, Harry leaned over to Fish and whispered, "If there's a chance, I'll secretly lend you a broom to play with."

"I don't want one!"(〃`3′〃) However, Fish refused, as it seemed to him that it was no longer the case that he could play with the flying broom, but that Minerva had another "cat".

Even if Fish didn't get even with Scarhead now, it didn't mean that he could easily forgive Minerva.

Fish was now waiting for Minerva to persuade him to admit his guilt.
