Chapter 34: More zombies!!!

Richie was making sure to be extremely quiet as he traversed the cave, if there was one thing that he didn't want to do, it would be to wake up the zombies.

From what he could see, there were at least 100 zombies sleeping on the walls, Richie still did not know how they were able to do that.

* crunch *

Richie stepped on a stick.

" WHAT THE HELL! WHY IS THERE A STICK HERE, I SWEAR THIS THING EXISTS FOR THE ONE PURPOSE OF WAKING ALL OF THE ZOMBIES UP!" Richie screamed internally.

The stick was obviously placed there as a trap to wake the zombie's up, but who could have done that?

Just as Richie thought that he managed to not wake any of the zombies up, one opened it's eyes and stared right at Richie.

Then, one by one, all of the other zombies also opened their eyes as they all stared at Richie.

Richie shivered. It was awfully cold all of a sudden.

" well I guess I have no choice then" Richie sighed to himself, from his previous battle with the zombie, he managed to conclude a few things, the first was that zombies could heal their wounds.

When Richie blew the brains out of that previous zombie, the residual blast had teared up the zombie's flesh, yet miraculously it healed extremely quickly, even with the supposed healing reduction provided by the missiles.

He also concluded that the best way to kill a zombie was to go for the head, when he killed the zombie from before, he had also noticed that the area above the neck did not heal at all, even when it was first damaged by the supernova punch.

Richie's cultivation was higher than all of the zombies before him, the highest level zombie from what he could see was a zombie at the second sub realm of the second realm, four whole sub realms behind him.

( cultivators with a higher cultivation level that their opponents are able to see their opponents cultivation realm, but only if they didn't have a special technique to hide their cultivation)

As the zombie's on the wall were climbing off of the wall, Richie fired multiple missiles at the zombies on the walls, upon connection, around 100 zombies were killed by that one attack, Richie was really lucky to have chosen a battle technique from the shop which had great aoe ( area of effect)

After firing his first batch of fire missiles at the zombies, Richie had to immediately dodge, most of the zombies were right in front of him.

Richie then started charging up his supernova punch ( this skill does need charging, in the fight with the previous zombie, throughout the battle, Richie had been charging up the supernova punch)

As Richie charged the supernova punch up with his right hand, his left hand was occupied, it was blowing the brains out of all the low level zombies which swarmed before him, his hypersensitive muscle memory was also helping him punch the zombies as charging up the supernova punch took quite a lot of concentration, especially when there are so many zombies chasing you around.

Minutes later, there were a lot fewer zombies than before, in total there were around 200 zombies left.

However Richie had sustained a great number of wounds, but these wounds were not from the zombies specifically, but from the zombies still on the wall vomiting blobs of acid at Richie, at first Richie was taken by surprise by the acid, it was actually extremely powerful.

Most of the 'Shooter zombies' on the wall were actually under the second realm, but still, the acid they spit is extremely potent and can still severely injure him. ( He learned that the hard way)

But now there were no more shooter zombies on the wall as Richie had spent almost all of his qi on shooting fire missiles at them.

Richie had to actually consume his qi gathering pill in order to replenish his qi, but still, it only replenished around half of his qi which was weird as it should have completely filled his qi core up with qi.

The system then explained to Richie that he could not be measured using normal standards and that due to his cultivation technique, he could store around double the amount of qi people at his realm would usually be able to.

This was because Richie's cultivation technique contained very profound methods of expanding and purifying qi.

Now however, Richie's supernova punch was completely charged, he smiled slyly as he maneuvered into a position where he could do the most damaged.

And then BOOM! all of the remaining zombies were launched at the walls of the cave, the zombies closer to the point of impact however were now just blobs of flesh all over the floor.

*huff* *huff* Richie had barely any qi or energy after that battle, so far, it was the most challenging battle he had been through.

- if this task is failed, there will be an extremely high chance of death-

- oh, I didn't know that the actual system could give tasks, well because It did give you a task, I advise you to follow it, it's a lot more reliable than I am- the system told Richie.

But this just made Richie confused, there were... two systems?

- stop thinking useless thoughts and start shutting up-

* Crack *

There was the sound of rocks being dislodged in front of him, yet the wall in front of him was completely sealed off.

BOOM! the wall in front of Richie exploded sending shards of deadly death Infused rocks everywhere, multiple rocks almost collided with Richie, but thankfully, they didn't.

Now, there was a massive hole in the wall, it was around 550 meters tall, but what was really terrifying about this hole was what was coming out of it.

It was a humanoid being with an abnormally large head, it didn't have eyes, it didn't have a nose, well in fact, I'd didn't have any features on its face, the face was completely black.

With each step it took, an extremely loud thud followed, it was like an earthquake in the cave, the floor was shaking, the walls were shaking, Richie was shaking. Out of fear.

The humanoid looked around the room, it was looking for somthing. It then punched its fist into the wall making most of the ceiling collapse downwards towards Richie, a few pieces of the rocks hit Richie, though they didn't carry the death element so Richie's could ignore it for now.
