Laura quickly changed into the clothes she chose, then put on her favorite below-the-knee boots. From a drawer, Laura pulled out a black mask she'd found at a Masquerade Party shop this morning. She was quite satisfied with the look on her face. Her blood-red lipstick-stained lips were smacked once, before putting the mask on her hand.
Laura took a few steps back just to look at her own appearance in the long mirror that stood next to her wardrobe.
"Let's show your beautiful side, Cat Woman." Laura chuckled at her own appearance.
She heard a car honk from outside. Oh, looks like Cassandra's friends have picked up. Not wanting to miss the long-awaited pleasure, Laura crept out of her bedroom window. The Audi car driven by Kim waited for Cassandra to arrive.
Until finally the girl she had been waiting for came. Cassandra in her red dress got into the Audi that had been waiting for her for a long time. In her agile, swift, graceful movements, Laura descended from the balcony and sprinted toward the Audi.
"Are you sure we won't be caught by vampire hunters?" Kim asked from behind the steering wheel while pressing the gas pedal leaving the Victor family's yard.
"Vampire hunters won't budge when confronted by a crowd of humans. They won't take the risk by attacking in a crowd." Cassandra smiled lopsidedly answering Kim's question in front of her.
"Is it just me or do I feel something is on top of our car?" Shane blinked her curly hairy eyes.
"You're just tense. Relax, Shane. Don't we often manage to escape vampire hunters?" Kim grinned widely.
Ignoring Shane's strange feeling, Cassandra rolled her eyes. They engaged in conversation for the rest of the way to the Royal Building regardless of Shane's complaints which were considered delusional.
Oh, it seems they didn't realize Laura was sitting cross-legged on the roof of the Audi Kimberly while rubbing her fingernails. Waiting bored.
Gosh, this girl.
