Zhao Xing was speechless for a minute, Jiang Chen had been quiet the whole time, silently looking around. She walked up to him still surprised by the news. "Jiang Chen…did you rob a bank? Win the lottery? How come I didn't know you were so rich?!"

As Zhao Xing walked away she realized Jiang Chen was still standing and dragged him to sit down. Seeing them sitting together, Shan Shan's eyes brightened.

But she didn't have enough time to fangirl over their CP as Jiang Chen was a little overwhelmed by how close Zhao Xing was to him, and felt a bit uncomfortable, he looked towards the kitchen, "I think I should go help."

Jiang Chen had made them buy so much, it won't be good to waste it, he should at least enjoy what he bought. Besides, he knew Shan Shan had the habit of not eating well in the mornings, so the table full of food was his way of showing his care for everyone. But seeing Shan Shan glare at him, he felt a bit...wronged.
