Teasing A Couple: Fail

Xi Xi was excited about going outside. It was getting livelier and livelier in the streets as the sun set.

Zhao Xing go ready and was on her way downstairs, when she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. She paused and bent to hold her stomach, in pain. But before she realized it the pain was gone.

'What the hell was that?' There was still cold sweat left from having been in pain just now. Was it like before, when she'd get dizzy and have headaches? Why was it her abdomen this time though?

It was gone now, it shouldn't bother her later, right?

Downstairs, Brother Mo, Xiao Qi and Xi Xi were waiting for her. Xi Xi held Xiao Qi's hand flinging it front and back playfully as they chatted. While Brother Mo stood to the side avoiding the duo, it seems the matter from few days ago still left a bad impression on him about children.

Zhao Xing walked up to them grinning "Let's go."

They walked into the streets and moved towards the town's square where everything was happening, including the plan of course.

Old Man Su didn't have time to see them off, but they left anyway.

"Has Xi Xi celebrated this festival before?" Zhao Xing engaged the little girl in a conversation.

"Um." She nodded. "Xi Xi has celebrated it once." She raised her little index finger to the air.

Zhao Xing couldn't help but pat her head. "Is that so?"

Xiao Qi saw her actions and dragged Xi Xi closer to her, her eyes saying 'you want to hurt her you have no right to play with her!'

Zhao Xing stared back at her with a warning glare. And turned her head away.

'Why is she acting like I'm some bad guy now?'

Brother Mo walked close to her and they exchanged looks.

They passed through different streets for the fun of it, they took Xi Xi around and went to different stores. Buying this and that.

"Eh? Look at this jade pendant, so pretty."

Zhao Xing rushed to the store. "Look at those earrings! And that one."

"Will you act your age?" Xiao Qi said through gritted teeth.

But why would Zhao Xing mind whatever she said, especially at the moment when she was so carried away with all the cool stuff she saw on the street. It was like all these merchandises were kept especially for that day.

There were even some cool masks. Zhao Xing bought for Xi Xi and herself the other two were boring and declined the offer to get one. Zhao Xing shrugged. She really wasn't lying when she said it would bore her out to go with these two alone.

When Zhao Xing saw some lanterns she lost her mind as she quickly walked up to the store.

"Lanterns!"

"Xi Xi you want one? Let big brother buy one for you."

Xi Xi nodded with an adorable smile on her little baby fat filled face.

The smile made Zhao Xing happy, she looked at the two people who stood away from them like they weren't part of the picture, and went on to say,

"Don't mind those two, they don't know how to have fun."

"This girl…" Xiao Qi, if she hadn't been there when Zhao Xing talked about kidnapping people she would never believe this kid in women's clothing had come up with such a plan.

Zhao Xing seemed to be in a good mood. She thought about her little cute maids back in the capital, and thought of getting them souvenirs. As for Zhang Zhengyang. She probably didn't remember who this person was.

She spent money buying whatever caught her eyes, and soon they reached the town square, there were performances, games and so on, many lanterns lit the streets hanging here and there giving it an even livelier atmosphere. Xiao Qi was caught off guard by the sudden gift, she looked at Zhao Xing with a glare and walked away, along with Xi Xi.

Zhao Xing looked at the vendor and shrugged. "The wife is unhappy, what to do?" with that she walked away.

Brother Mo continued to laugh as they left the vendor looking at their backs in confusion. Well today they were carrying out such a serious plan, but with Zhao Xing here acting like this, he didn't find it so serious and grim anymore. In short they were actually having fun.

"Hey, brother Mo, don't forget to take a look at the beauties on the streets."

Zhao Xing nudged his elbow, and winked.

He looked stunned by the comment. Was it his turn to get teased now?

As time went by the place became more and more crowded as people like them who spent time on the road also arrived the square.

It was time.

Though Zhao Xing went about playing and commenting on whatever she saw, she had the plan in mind.

Brother Mo's expression also became serious. Xiao Qi also felt the change in the atmosphere and the frown on her face deepened.

At that point, a group of people walked in their direction. The place that was already crowded with people became even more squeezed.

"Xiao Qi ah." Zhao Xing shouted as she slowly got separated from the group because of the herd of people pushing against each other.

She was hoping Xiao Qi wouldn't foil their plans by protecting Xi Xi from being taken away.

She could see Brother Mo from a distance, who squeezed through the crowd, he raised his hand to indicate that this part of the plan was going smoothly.

Zhao Xing nodded and sighed in relief. During this time, her hands had already gone cold from being nervous. If she hadn't distracted herself enough it would probably show on her face.

She had never done such a thing before. In her world this was considered a very bad thing to do, especially if it was a kid. If anything really did happen to Xi Xi because of her, she would spend the rest of her life in guilt, she'd probably go crazy.

As long as the plan went well. As long as it went smoothly nothing bad would happen to her.

"Big sister Qi!" Xi Xi had been separated from the group. She looked around, but because of the crowd and her height it was impossible to recognize her environment.

Just then someone held her from behind.

She thought it was one of the people who came with her, but before she could turn around, that person held her mouth. Her eyes widened. Before she realized it, she was unconscious.

This person carried her and laid her head on their shoulder, anyone that saw him wouldn't be suspicious, thinking they were the parent. With that they walked away, blending with the crowd.
