CHAPTER 93: The Cold Silence

Aella frowned when she heard the answer Bane had given her when she asked of the people in the graves.

True owners of the Castle? What did he mean by that? She had thought he was the possessor of Cassa Dron.

"W-What? The owners of the Castle? How?" Aella asked softly as the fire next to them crackled higher.

Bane looked down at the cup of tea in his hands before answering her.

"I am merely a guest who had overstayed his visit here," he replied and Aella didn't say anything else.

She wanted him to talk all by himself so it wouldn't seem like she was pressuring him to tell her about his past.

"They were the true owner of this mansion. They were kind, generous and extremely happy to have me here, not knowing how much of a disaster I was going to cause," Bane uttered and Aella's heart jolted a bit.
