Chapter 98 - Back Into The Virtual World

4 PM, at Kazuya's residence...

Kazuya sat on his bed with the Crimson VR headset in his hands, connected to the main console unit, which was now fixed back up with the snapped wires that linked it to the wall. Neji and Erika were also present with him, each wanting to be there when he logged back into the game. 

To their initial surprise, Kazuya's mother, Kaori, was not present, and they all understood why. It was probably reinforcing her earlier statement that implied that as long as Kazuya was within the safe assurance of his friends, there was nothing for her to be concerned about.

"The plugs are all loaded, and both the console and VR machine are up and running," Neji said to Kazuya.
