Crazy in Love

(Warning: Violence)

Continuation of the last related chapter…

Beomgyu's pov

"M-Mi Young…" I gasped at the sight of the revolver she's holding in her left hand. A part of me is saying she's not gonna hit me anywhere judging the distance, yet my legs won't follow.

"You probably think I can't do it huh?" She grinned and it looked to me like some demon is possessing her. "Just so you know, I've been holding one since grade-school. And mind you, it's not a toy."

I swallowed a lump down my throat to calm my shaking knees while calculating the angle of the door and how much space my body would require to get out without getting shot.

I was too naive. I didn't hear the gunshot, probably because of a silencer but the sharp pain let me know that she's seriously deranged.

"Ah… fuck." I grunted when my left lower leg refuse to obey and start to pump blood out. I had to lean against the wall to keep my weight off my injury.

Mi Young on the other hand rushed to shut the door, nearly crushing my pinky finger if I wasn't paying attention.

"I'm so sorry…" she put the gun above the shoe rack across my position and panicked at the mess she has made. It's surprising how she's all bent on fixing the wound by ripping the hem of her own shirt but proceed on blaming me for it. "This is all your fault."

"Yeah, getting shot is all my fault." I said sarcastically. "It's probably better to die at this point."

"You really hate me that much huh?" She turned to someone else again in a matter of seconds. "After all the efforts I did to make you comfortable living in a place far from your family and relatives this is how you repay me?."

"You kidnapped me, you raped me, and now I'm bleeding to death. Am I supposed to be happy?!" I snapped.

"Because you never listen to me! I told you to behave and you betrayed me!"

"Are you even hearing yourself?" My voice cracked in frustration. "If we switched positions right now wouldn't you do the same thing?"

"Of course not!" She quickly held my jaws with her bloody fingers and forced me to look down. "If I was in your shoes I would be dating you since day one."

"Mi Young, all these… was it really worth it?" I sighed in defeat. "Are you really gonna be happy to be in a relationship that's built by pure threats?" I grabbed her shoulders and stared straight into her brown eyes, "… you're pretty and approachable. You deserve better than this. The right guy will eventually come by."

"But you're the one that I want." She quickly hugged my waist tight, ignoring the fact that her leg is pressing against my injury. I bit my lower lip in pain but it seems like I'm making progress so I continued to distract her.

"Things never always go the way we want it." I said and caressed her long hair. "My father forced me too and I left because of it. Please don't make me repeat the same to you."

"Can't you just date me then?" She insisted again and I'm so tired of it. "I promise I'll do everything for you because I don't think I'll be able to live without you Beomgyu…"

"How about we just stay as friends like before?" I replied positively even though it's impossible at this point, "isn't that way better than being in unstable relationship where people usually get hurt?"

"And you think I don't get hurt every time I see you talking to your classmates or our neighbors very fondly and treat me the opposite way?" Tears began racing down her pale cheeks and it made me feel bad.

"Sometimes it all comes down to topics and how the conversation goes." I explained calmly. "We just don't click on a lot of things and usually because of the bad timing."

"Then you're basically saying it's pointless." She sighed deeply and wiped her tears away as if she had managed to move on.

That's what I thought.

"Well then let's just go back to doing it my way." She playfully tapped my injury and blood came gushing out onto the white fabric. My knees stooped down with my forearms cushioning the impact of the fall.

That's when she injected something into my upper arm and it instantly made me drowsy. I shook my head to fight the spreading numbness yet I still ended up flat on the tiled floor.

"If you can't be convinced with words, let the actions speak for itself."

To be continued…
