Taehyun's pov

"Hey Taehyun look at this," my colleague and childhood friend grabbed my attention by slamming a pile of papers filled with the same requests.

"That's a waste of resources." I retorted before he orders me to find some lost puppy.

"This is not ours." Yeonjun sighed deeply as if he is on the brink of fainting from exhaustion. "A lot of people came by to the main building and created a scene there. It was total chaos."

"They should've arrested them all at once and be done with it." I smirked as I ran my eyes over the a4 sized colored photo of a pretty girl in a velvety black semi-formal suits. "I bet this rich brat just wanted attention and will go back home crying as soon as her wallet is taken away."

"That's actually a guy." Yeonjun cleared his throat and straightened up. "Incoming…" I followed his alerted gaze and frowned when I saw our Superior approaching which is a rare occurrence for newbies like us.

I immediately stood up and we both greeted him with respect. He told us to drop the formalities and ordered to work on a case special to him due to it's nature.

"I need the more experienced men in this department to do this right, however, they're all out right now and I have no trust on anyone else but you." He patted my shoulder like a proud father and it felt so fake. I can only respond with a forced bow and accepted the job. "If you find that boy before anyone else, the media will definitely cover it within the whole country.

Great. So it's all about his image.

"Yes Sir. You can count on us." Yeonjun's response shocked me considering his injury from the mission we did a few weeks back hasn't healed perfectly yet. He's even walking a bit slower than usual but the bullet wound on his leg is not that serious at least.

"I am. And don't worry, it will be easier this time around because there are many volunteers that will help with the search and rescue." He spoke with confidence yet I have a feeling that it's bluff.

He saluted us like he meant it and we did the same thing before leaving the station with only the xerox copies of the victim at hand.

"I can't believe we're going to break the rule just for this particular person when it officially states any member of the family has to wait for at least three days to report a missing person. " I told Yeonjun while walking down the corridor because everything's too sudden to process as a kidnap for ransom.

"Yes. But it appears like it's never happened before according to his neighbors. Especially when he ditched an important event and not answering his calls."

"I would understand the panic if he's the President's son but-"

"He's quite popular to teenagers like me." Yeonjun cut my sarcasm and smirked.

"Don't tell me we're gonna babysit children as well?" I feel exhausted already.

I was so sure this will be a long day but seeing the huge crowd within the parking lot made me regret accepting this case.
