Suspicion (1)

"You let her figure out the reason why you wanted the blood?" Aaron asked the nurse calmly

The doctor he had given the orders to stood by the side, unsure of what to do and dreading the anger he was sure Aaron must be feeling at the moment.

'What is so special about the patient anyways except the fact that he has an abnormal chart' the doctor thought fleetingly

"The woman was already suspicious of me and I had no idea she was a mind reader, I did nothing to warrant any suspicion from her." The nurse answered.

She was visibly shaking and that was good, she needed to be afraid of what he could do

"And where is the blood you managed to draw out before she stopped you?" Aaron asked, standing to his feet and circling the girl like she was some prey. To him she was, a prey and a darn annoying one.

"I was asked to drop it and call the doctor" She answered, turning to watch his movement around her.
