"What?" | gasped out loud unable to believe what I had just heard.

"The people are having an uproar right now. The court are trying to discuss the next action to take." My mother stated with a solemn look.

I gaped at her in disbelief. "Next action? But I didn't do anything! I didn't kill Carter!"

My mother sobbed, moving closer towards me and framed her hands on my face. "You don't think I know that sweetie? Of course I do, but the people are finding it hard to believe because you were in the woods when you were supposed to be at the tournament." She said and I released a shuddered gasp at that. "By the way? What happened in the woods? Something happened to you didn't it?"
