A PROMISE BETWEEN LOVERS

Sucking in a breath my eyes opened only to see I was in a familiar room. I stood up in a flash but immediately regretted it because of the pain in my lower abdomen. I groaned as I held my stomach.

Guess this was the aftermath of giving birth. Speaking of giving birth I looked around for my babies but all I could find were two cots placed next to my bed and they looked empty.

I was about to start panicking when the door opened and Ivan came inside, dressed in loose fitting shirt with a red suede jacket over it and he wore tight fitting dark trousers. He also had a crown over his head which he hardly wore except on special occasions.

"Hey, there you are." Ivan said walking towards me with a smile on his face.

"My babies! Where are they?" I demanded feeling a little bit of panic in my chest. "Where are my children Ivan?"

"Hey, hey, hey, calm down!" Ivan sat down on the bed and grabbed my hands.

I shook my head at him. "Where are they Ivan?"
