Chapter 28: Protection

While saying so Si Kai felt as if it was difficult to breathe, to stop Gu Jin from seeing the tears in his eyes, he lowered his head.

Gu Jin heaved a sigh of relief but seeing his disappointed expression, she knew that he misunderstood her.

"I am not asking you to give up on cultivation directly. I am saying just give up on Magic Cultivation."

Si Kai was confused and then became somewhat upset,

"Are you making fun of me?"

"Huh?

"Other than Magic Cultivation there is no other cultivation."

Indeed for the people on this continent, there was no other cultivation other than Magic Cultivation.

Si Kai's temperature was rising, he slowly started to become angry.

"Not only that, after the severance, you became a rat in a gutter. Oh my god, how laughable."

"Shut up."

A powerful aura surged around Si Kai, seeing this Gu Jin smiled slightly and continued,

"What? You are just a paper tiger! If you are really so strong show it to you me. Show...show"

However, while triggering him, Gu Jin didn't understand why he wasn't able to awaken his bloodline till now.

During the conversation, Gu Jin realized that Si Kai channeled all of his energy into negative emotions because of which he wasn't able to awaken his bloodline.

But now it was good since Si Kai's Beast Tamer's bloodline was awakened.

Si Kai weekly fell to his knees.

Gu Jin hurriedly hugged him and laid him on the bed.

Si Kai's small face was pale, his usually bright eyes were dim.

Heartache appeared in Gu Jin's eyes.

Seeing this, Si Kai understood everything.

So she was helping him...

The beautiful sister was not mocking him and she didn't despise him either.

She made some food for him and took care of him.
