Chap 57 - The Dong Leng Province

The relentless snowstorm raged on, its fury engulfing village after village, as if their feeble lights were meager defenses against its onslaught. Amidst the tempest, a majestic mountain stood, its peak crowned by a colossal castle that loomed ominously.

The path leading to the towering castle was obscured by glaciers, their icy tendrils stretching across the stairways. Yet, despite the treacherous conditions, a lone figure could be seen ascending the steps. The person pressed forward, undeterred by the presence of a silent pack of white wolves trailing closely behind.

Imprints of the person's footsteps marred the thick blanket of pristine snow, marking their resolute journey. Occasionally, the individual would cast a backward glance, denying the wolves any opportunity to strike.
