The Power Of Knights

' Hey! He ate me.' Kevin was in a panic after being eaten like that. ' This Bastard ate me, why isn't my flames working against him?'

' Can you please stay still there in his stomach? I am still busy killing some of the remaining wolves.' Dawn replied.

' You knew it, I was going to be eaten. What are you playing at?' Kevin complained,

' Yes, so just stay silent in his stomach and don't exhaust yourself within his stomach. You will have to last longer.' Dawn instructed Kevin, he had assumed that something like this might happen but still, he needed Kevin to keep the big leader wolf distracted.

However, Kevin was not able to distract the wolf as Dawn planned. There were still a few dangerous wolves alive who were able to fight back. The leader wolfbat howled making every other wolfbat alert of the enemy that was Dawn.

' Shit, the doggy noticed me!' Dawn relayed the information to Kevin.

' Don't die! you have to free me from here.' Kevin again send a panicked reply.

Because the leader wolfbat had swallowed Kevin, it was not making any initiative to attack Dawn, instead, it ordered the other wolves. They were all heading in one direction where Dawn was.

In the meantime, the knights had decided to move but before them, two humans were standing. Hans and Felix had their hands on their swords and were not afraid to face the knights. Only the knight commander who was Andrews felt intimidating to them.

Apart from how tall and muscular he was, near him, they felt a strong pressure. Andrews was curious about what the duo wanted and moved towards them.

" Are you an ally or an enemy?" He asked.

" We are not your enemy, our master is fighting the wolfbat so I want to know your purpose."

" I remember you, you are that man who brought the bandit's head to report to us." Andrews looked behind, it was one of his knights that spoke up. Hans had reported it to him when they had captured the bandits.

" Y-Yes, I am," Hans replied being surprised because the knight's face was not visible.

" Please forgive me I tried to frighten, the people we are indebted to." Andrews apologized and then asked, " Where is your master?"

" He is fighting within the walls of those flames," Felix answered him.

" Alone?" Andrews questioned and then faced the flame wall, he was captivated by the beauty of the flames. Then he looked towards the large wolf who was howling in the air.

" Your master is strong but I think I will need to lend a hand to him," Andrews said as he unsheathed his long sword and then looked toward his knights.

" We have a hero to honor, he saved us a lot of trouble. Raise your swords to fight alongside that hero and get rid of these unwanted enemies. For Our Home and Our Lord!" Andrews gave his speech and the knights cheered after him.

Andrews ran forward with the sword in his hand and the other knights followed behind him but their speed was nothing compared to Andrews. He reached the wall of flames in just a matter of seconds and the more surprising thing was that he passed through the wall as he considered it no obstacle.

' These flames are unusual, I should have guessed as much from the color.' Andrews thought, he was surprised because he thought that he was fast enough to pass through the flames before they could start burning on the armor. The flames were burning his armor and he was unable to extinguish them.

" Knights! Find another opening, don't come through these walls or you will die." Andrews shouted and warned the knights. The Knights stopped just before the flame wall.

The knights were quick to take proper actions, as they were trained on what they should do in such a situation, three among them took the charge and formed groups that went in different directions. One group stayed with Felix and Hans as they told him about a place from where they could see the fight and the entire battlefield better.

Andrews eyed the enemy flying in the air, the leader wolfbat was slowly trying to digest Kevin, but soon he sensed the killing intent. Just as he faced toward where Andrews was, his right wing was cut by an invisible force, and it crashed to the ground.
