"Calm down your Eminence." His subordinate calms him.
"But the good thing is that there's a key to his destruction. Hahaha," the man let out a drastic laugh with his arms spread wide.
His subordinate stares at him in confusion.
The man keeps laughing as he stands up from his seat and walks towards his precious plant at the corner.
"The heavens can be so good at times." He declared as a pleasing smile slowly spread across his face.
"What his Eminence means to say is…" his subordinate countered, dragging his words. His eyes shone in understanding his Master's words.
The man turns to face his subordinates smirking, impressed with his reasoning.
"Accurate, Zambo." The man asserted as he plucked the leaf on his plant.
The subordinate quickly fell on one knee, his right-hand placed on his raised knee.
"Congratulations to his eminence on your discovery." He said bowing his head in deep respect.
The man's foul mood at that moment takes a turn the minute. He hummed a non-existing song as he walked into his inner chamber smiling to himself. Swinging his arms in the air.

Inside, Mergus chambers,
He was surrounded by his beautiful maids the moment he stepped out of the milky bath, his skin glistening under the light coming from the moonlight.
His long silver hair stuck to his bare back, chest, and forehead giving him a sexy appearance. His almond-shaped eyes were devoid of any emotions.
The maids didn't dare to bat an eye to admire his godly features. He spread his arms for them to wipe his body dry. They adorned him in a silky white robe.
Luke walks into his chambers at that moment. None of the maids dared to steal glances at him. Because of his imposing Aura.
"Milord," he greeted, his voice filled with deep respect.
Mergus nods his head in acknowledgment and raises his hand at the maids.
The maids left after one another after reading the signs.
"Milord, something needs to be done," Luke confessed, anxiety obvious in his voice.
"Like what Luke?" Mergus asked as he glanced at Luke through the corners of his eyes. His back facing him.
"Milord, don't tell me you are taking this the easy way?" Luke asked with concern, his eyebrow raised.
Mergus clicks his tongue and looks out from his gazebo. He lazily walks toward it and places his hands on the railings of the gazebo.
"What is my good brother doing?" He asked, changing the subject not minding the disbelief look on his subordinate face.
Luke furrows his eyebrows, his eyeballs almost popping out of their sockets.
Why will his Lordship raise a question that is unrelated to the matter on the ground?
Whatever happens, he still has to obey his master.
"Marcus, his wing is unusually quiet, but…"
Mergus cut in, stopping his unfinished words.
"That was expected," Mergus said, giving a sarcastic remark.
"I'm heading towards the lovers' cave." He continues.
Luke stares intently at the back of his head, surprised at his indifferent behavior.
"But Milord…" Mergus cut in again.
"You have an assignment, Luke." Mergus countered in a firm voice, reminding him. He left through the gazebo, turning into a bat, and flew off.
"Understood…" Luke answered hesitantly. He left Mergus's chambers after staring at the now-empty gazebo for some time.
Mergus appears on the top of a bridge walk with clear spring water flowing down from each of its sides and beneath the bridge walk. The light from the moonlight shines on the flowing spring making it sparkle under the calm night.
Mergus walks along the bridge walk, in majestic steps as he looks around the beautiful surroundings of the bridge walk. A slight smile appears on his Godly face. He stares ahead to the house in front, standing below the bridge walk. The house is decorated with flowers and fire lamps were hanging on the outside of its porch, giving it a beautiful view.
He walks down the bridge-walk calmly.
The calming smells of vanilla flowers enter his nostril as he walks down the bridge walk making him stop on his track. His silky white robe swept the floor after him.
A loving smile spread across his face as he plucked the flower from its stem. He gently raises the flower to his nose. He smiles warmly as a sweet scent fills his nostril.
"You can always have more of that if you want it, my Lordship." A deep voice commented, breaking his moment with the flowers.
He turns his head around to the side to face the voice owner. A handsome man clad in a blue coat above his white plain trouser. He is standing on the steps of the house with his arms folded in front of his chest. He had his brown hair trimmed neatly, giving him a sharp look.
"Have you been well Uncle?" Mergus asked, his expression filled with warmth.
The man smiles back at him, slightly raises his right hand, and places it on his chest.
"I'm fine, thanks to his Lordship's care and treatments." The man said, his voice filled with admiration.
Mergus curves his lips in a slight smile and walks towards him.

"Uncle, you are exaggerating." Mergus countered as he climbed the steps of the house.
A slight chuckle escapes his uncle's lips as he raises his hand to usher him inside.
Mergus followed him inside and sat down with elegance on the heart-shaped couch. He leans his body forward on top of the table in front of him as he supports his jaw with his palm and admires the flower he plucked from the outside in his hands.
"You know that was your mother's favorite." His uncle said as he placed snacks and hot tea on the table in front of him. He takes the seat opposite Mergus. His expression filled with a knowing smile.
"What is she like?" Mergus implored, his eyes still fixed on the vanilla flower between his fingers.
His uncle sighs and stares at the beautiful view of the waterfall glistening under the moonlight. A pleasing smile cast on his handsome face.
"Your mother was the most beautiful woman among the pure-blooded vampires. Her smiles only warm the ocean and her voice wakes the dead. I built the place upon her memory." His uncle emphasizes as he stares deeply at the waterfall his eyes filled with longing and loss.
Mergus's eyes flick on hearing his uncle's words. He picks up the teacup and sips the hot tea.
