Xander and Jayden walked outside the house area after paying their respects. Xander spoke up after he made sure nobody nearby overheard their conversations.

"Master, regarding Victor's death."

"Yes, I know. He was killed."

"What do you mean, my grandfather was killed?"

Jayden and Xander turned to look, and they were taken aback by Aubrey and Ember's sudden appearance. Xander was confused. He was sure nobody was nearby just now.

"Jayden! What do you mean, my grandfather was killed?"

Aubrey asked again as she pulled on Jayden's clothes. Ember approached them and tried to calm Aubrey.

"Please, Aubrey, calm down. Let's hear what Jayden has to say first."

Aubrey let go of her grip and apologised, "I'm sorry..."

"It's fine. I completely understand how you feel. As I previously stated, Victor was killed. I smelled a dark fox spirit on his body. His face was also scratched."
