Comments of chapter undefined of Multiverse And A Vampire

Well, this story for me so far makes no sense. Why does he still talk to his brother? His brother and his girlfriend (childhood friend) cheat on him but he doesn't do anything about it, it makes no sense. If it were me I would beat my brother until he was crippled, he doesn't seem to feel a thing. Maybe I missed something?
