Honestly I personally don't want raven to go with him, idw I just want it to be his thing yaknow? I always pictured raven as the protective shield the mc left behind to pick up the pieces of the shattered feelings his family will be in. His sister is gonna take this hard... really hard, Oliver will too and so will the team to an extent (especially robbin). Raven who is in the mission and is already close with all of them, plus her closeness with the mc would be a perfect person to look after them and stop them when they indanger his mission. Like this it would be a perfect team, one on both sides to keep everything in check while batman keeps the league in check. Plus when the mc eventually fights the team and even the league her telepathic powers would be a very good way to pass information without being caught (during a fight no one will notice).
Can't wait, I'm also looking forward to the mc no longer holding back. Deathstoke most likely won't except that and where batman taught him tactics, techniques and control, he will most likely teach the mc ruthless efficiency. Mc is going to be a beast as this will also probably take months even years being undercover and his powers are still growing... I imagine it would be a omni man type situation, raw domination and seemingly invincible. Also Can't wait when he finally fly's. Dunno why but flying has always appealed to me, if I could fly I would rarely ever walk again just float everywhere looking down on everyone :p ... yes that's a bit edgy
CORNBRINGER:She won’t go. That much I can spoil. You’ll see.
Honestly, Raven going with Bolt doesn't make much sense, it just doesn't fit well with an undercover mission for two people of the same team to defect at the same time. It would've been much easier to leave Raven behind. Of course, she would know about the undercover mission, and would act as Bolts partner in crime, by ensuring the teams safety etc. And I must say, the behaviour of Raven reminds me of a possessive girlfriend that must follow her BF everywhere, 24/7. But then again, it's just the beginning of the mission, so maybe things would end up better with both Raven and Bolt being undercover.
It's a bit strange for me... David is an independent hero not related to the bet-family and he is being prepared for the role of Batman!? Like seriously? Richard became Nightwing to spite Bruce, beth did not want to take off the mantle to the end. Further, all Bruce's assistants strove to put on a Batman costume, but they became independent heroes. Even Damien Wayne ended up choosing to be the head of a demon and the new Batman! And only Terry McGinos became Batman and he is a clone of Bruce!
The problem is you've kind of already broken the trust of 'I have a plan trust me' this story with your training arc, it was worthless despite spending two chapters trying to explain why you are doing it for no real reason and past stories having fairly flat twists/arcs after way too long of a build-up all while touting about how no one can understand your 'genius'. You can write some great arcs and stories but there are also some pretty bad arcs that are just skimmed over I'm expecting this villain arc to be one of those even if it's not your fault since you likely just don't want to follow the same plot of young justice + another character that's solving things faster it just seems like you went the wrong direction with it.
