Vigilante's arrival

Ethan's pov...

I put white mask on my face. It had red patterns on it's left side. It was a gift from my father and was able to alter my voice and can't fall off until the owner wanted. a black coat with golden lotus drawn on the back.

Suddenly something shot up on the sky, breaking the ceiling like canon. leaving the falling ceiling behind, I didn't run after that thing but instead dash to save the soldiers from falling rumbel.

General Ross's pov...

What the f*ck just happened, where did this monster come from. I can't help but get panic because in front of me was a green monster. rampaging in a my military facility destroying everything he sees.

I called for backup and fully equipped soldiers along with tanks came without a delay. we started to bombard that freak but when the smoke disappear. The green monster was still fine. Only difference was that now he was glaring in this direction.

He reached toward tanks with just in one jump and dismantle it, destroying the tank like a plastic toys. I quickly dialled the emergency code which sends a signal to the secret agency shield. The call connected and a sharp voice came

"Hold on for two minutes..."

It was like he already knew what was happening here. I heard many things about him, people in higher authorities call him the most dubious man alive.

He asked to hold for two minutes...that monster was crushing the whole tank in seconds, bullets didn't work on him and he attacked everything without stopping. Why can't he just asks us to sang lullaby then to make him sleep then?

But we hold on. most like kept him busy by taking a beating and then some fighter jets came and launched some kind of high-tech missile. it looked like that will hold it for while, but that monster jumped toward the jet and crashed it.

Squads in the gray battle suits had just arrived a while ago with all kinds of weapons getting ready to fight, can anyone even fight that thing ??

They only angered that thing more, while even high-tech weapons weren't working. that thing peeks up a tank and turns to this side and roared. I was seeing my death before me but before he can throw that tank to crush us. there was a sudden cannon hit the monster and sent that thing crashing into the building.

But to everyone's surprise, it wasn't a cannon or missile but a person, in a long black coat and black hair, with a white mask on his face. He was standing there, waiting for that monster to come back.

Ethan's pov...

After saving those soldiers from falling buildings. I looked around in the lab there was still high radiation around but I had an aura surrounding my body for protection, I also found a half-burned body of Jim, so I concluded the identity of that green monster. I left the lab to go after a banner or whatever he is now.

When I came out I saw destruction. it was like war ground with a devastating view, 'this beast is a lot worst than that lizard.' I thought.

I didn't have a chance against it. hell if I can even lay a single solid hit, then I consider it my win.

So i didn't rush straight to him, the green guy just send the jet crashing like a tiny little bird. it would be the same for me too if i acted hasty. I was just little far. Ready for a my chance to execute a suprise attack. I made a fist with my right hand, holding my left hand above it without touching.

Soon wind started to swirled around me, things near me started to fall by shacking. but I didn't lose my focus, the aura was gathering around my fist, then slowly a light yellow sphere of condense aura covered my fist, aura around me that was enhancing my body (strength, agility and defence) vanished. I looked at the green guy. He was peaking up a tank that's my chance.

I put a little aura on my legs. my legs bend a little and I launched straight to the giant like an arrow and as my fist connected to his abdomen, with boom!! A shock wave passed through the air and the giant went crashing into the near building.

That was my limit. I have only half of my aura left, I still wasn't skilled enough to concentrate all my aura in my fist, well even if I was able to do that. It wasn't a wise to do because even that wouldn't have been enough to knock down this green guy.

Proving me right, the green guy jumped out of the building in the best condition he could be, my attack didn't even leave a mark, but he sure looked at me with anger as he roared befor jumping at me.
