Synopsis

“Sorry, Theron doesn’t like guests,” she sneered, glaring at the man who decided to bother her. with a finger still on the collar of the large tiger, she walked forward dangerously close to him with her not so little friend in tow. “He’s also not too fond of being interrupted before meal time.” this time, she let go of the collar, allowing the beast to pounce as she licked her lips, watching as the intruder tried to hide behind his arms, only to get bored and pull at the leash right before he was mauled. Bending down, she gave him a good few scratches under the neck and a chaste kiss, before focusing back on him. “Seems like you didn’t wet yourself there, congrats. You did better than we expected.” she laughed, it was then he saw not one more set of eyes, but over twenty sets of predatory gazes on him. “Here’s some friendly advice, your majesty. Try running, and they’ll pounce.” with that, she walked off with her tiger, only to be stopped as he grabbed her wrist, breaking free of his cold sweat. “Please, don’t leave me alone here!” he whimpered, his eyes looked as sad as the wolves whenever she’d stop petting them. closing her eyes, she pondered for a moment. “If I do, will you do me a favor in return?” she asked, her expression never once shifting. nodding frantically, she pulled his own wrist, releasing her’s from his grip and walked him beside her as she took him out and away from the cats. As they continued walking, he tried to break the silence. “Thank…” he started but she interrupted. “Don’t thank me yet. The birds can be quite aggressive when mating, it’s going to be a few minutes, a pure miracle you didn’t die sooner.” she told him, still walking leisurely as she wanted to ensure Theron got his exercise. Gripping his wrist harder as a warning, she finally came to an abrupt stop. “Annul our engagement, and stay away from my family. Do not ever speak to me again.” she ordered, the beast growling up at the prince. “No!” it was now her turn to be surprised as he bowed, head nearly touching the pavement. “Anything but that, I will do anything my lady wants whether it be gold or asking for the most expensive jewelry. But the one thing I will never do is annul our engagement!” His eyes sparkled, and for the first time she saw confidence within them. Just why was he so insistent on marrying her to the point he went from crying to a totally different person! As her mouth hung agape, she heard the yelling of another boy. “Theia!” It was Nyx. ——————————————— What’s worse than finding yourself reincarnated in a novel you read and not being the main character? Chapter 1Reborn as The Villainess, Theia Argyris

Falling to her knees, a slew of curses escaped the girl's throat as she felt a knife ram into her from behind, straight from her back and into her stomach. she couldn't even see the face of her attacker as her eyes widened and soon turned dull and lifeless, making her entire life up until that point completely worthless! what was the point of her working hard if she was just going to die to some random drunk at night? she cursed up above.

As she waited for the sweet embrace of death, she instead found herself blinded by a blind light, and several voices and loud noises. "Is this a hospital?" She thought, maybe a bystander had found her, except for one issue. What kind of hospital had a chandelier above a patients bed?

She tried to move her head, but it felt quite heavy. She tried moving her arms and feet as well, but they were also a bit hard to move and control, but she got the hang of it. From there she saw the tiny hand which resembled a baby, "Haah?" she tried to yell out, only for garble to come out. Within an instant, she saw a face appear before her own, a woman with grey-white hair and what looked like a black and white uniform, not a doctor's.

She felt herself being picked up, although she tried to protest, only cries of a baby rang out instead of what she was trying to say. "Stop!" she tried to yell, only for it to sound like gibberish some more, to the point she felt tears stinging her eyes due to frustration beyond her control. "Darling, don't cry." she heard a pretty voice say as she was dropped in someone else's arms.

"Please be careful, madam." She heard the one who picked her up first say. "you're still recovering." her voice was filled with genuine worry, which meant nothing to her as she didn't know anything which was going on. Shaking her head, the woman holding her smiled. "I'm alright, Kathy. I am healthy enough to hold my own daughter and wipe her tears away." The one holding her was extremely gentle, she hadn't even realized that she'd stopped crying as a feather soft kiss was pressed onto her forehead.

"Are you alright, baby?" she asked, giggling. Her eyes were a light blue, mesmerizing and reminded her of jewels. Her hair was relatively straight, soft, and platinum blonde. Even the tips of her bangs tickled the sides of her face from how long it was. She was extremely warm and gentle, but an unsettling feeling resided within her stomach. Who was she?

All of a sudden she heard the door slammed open, followed by feet shuffling and a bunch of women bowing as she could not seen what was happening beyond the sea of heads. "Greetings to Duke Argyris." it nearly sounded creepy hearing everyone speak in unison.

Hold on, duke?! Those don't exist anymore! The sea of heads parted as she felt the woman get up weakly, bowing her head as her grip tightened nearly causing her to yelp. "Good morning, Duke. Thank you for visiting despite your busy schedule." she smiled, however it was filled with nerves. Taking a peek, she saw the man in question that commanded everyone's respect. Dark jet blue, almost black hair. He was pale, and dressed in extremely fine attire you'd only see in movies or read in novels. Most importantly, his most notable quality, his calculating and cold silver eyes.

Everything clicked, like a roped she was holding onto snapped, causing her to fall into the abyss she was going to drown in, reality. Duke Argyris, the father of the antagonists of her favorite novel, the head of the worst villains, and the one that just appeared before her!

"If you are well enough to greet me, attend tonight's formal dinner with Theia." His voice was deep, and nearly made her cry. he stroke fear into her as his eyes lingered, before turning on his heel and leaving. "Thank you, Duke!" she heard the woman yell out as he exited.

Theia Argyris… the worst possible character to be named in the novel if you wanted to survive. One of the villainess characters, who suffers tragedy one after the next. From neglect, bullying from the other wives, children, the death of her mother, being married off to a prince who they all suspected to be worthless, all the way to being beheaded in front of an audience for harassing the female lead, a true protagonist in every way. A perfect girl. As she lamented, the woman holding her, her mother, cried into her tummy. "He named you!" she sobbed, her daughter finally received a name.

"Congratulations madam, young miss!" The woman who originally picked her up clapped her hands as she once again took her. "Not to ruin the mood of young miss receiving her name after a few months, but the both of you must look presentable, the entire family will be there tonight as a formal dinner." Did she just say a few months?!

That actually did sound right considering who her father was, of course she wasn't too important. But why, just why did she reincarnate as the most misfortunate villainess throughout the novel?

Royal Secret: I'm a Princess!

After living as a famous Korean vlogger-slash-mukbanger, Neoma died a (shameful) death and regressed to her tragic first life--- the life where she has to live as a hidden princess with a tyrannical father and a yandere twin brother. She died at the hands of her psycho brother in her first life. But luckily, she charmed her "big brother" this time. Her father remains a sc*mbag, though. But a blessing in disguise happened when her twin brother got "sick." Because of that, she has to pretend as the "Crown Prince," forcing her father to treat her well. She thought she was finally on the road to becoming a lady of leisure. But, despite her laziness, she still ends up completing royal duties that put her closer to the throne than her sick twin brother. The next thing she knew, they already prophesied her to be the first empress of their very patriarchal empire. Now Neoma finds herself in the middle of the succession war she never wanted to be involved in! *** [EXCERPT 1] “Neoma de Moonasterio, the first princess of Moonasterion Empire. From now on, you’ll live as Prince Nero’s proxy.” [The hell is this psycho saying?] Neoma, despite her confusion, still smiled at her father--- the emperor. “Father, what do you mean by that?” “From now on, assassins sent by my enemies would target Nero,” the emperor explained. “Until he’s strong enough to protect himself, you’ll pose as your twin brother.” Her smile froze, but she still acted innocent. “But Father. If I take my brother’s position, then wouldn’t the assassins mistake me for him and…” She stopped talking when she realized that was exactly what the emperor wanted her to do. [This sc*mbag wants me to be bait?!] “You’re no longer a princess, Neoma de Moonasterio. From now on, you’ll live as Prince Nero de Moonasterio,” Emperor Nikolai said coldly while looking down at her with glowing red eyes. “Try to survive until your twin brother comes back to take his rightful place, understood?” Neoma was too shocked to react. [Are you f*cking kidding me, you sc*mbag?!] *** [ORIGINAL BOOK COVER. Artwork by sola_cola.] *** [EXCERPT 2] “I’m so sick of your tyrannical a*s,” Neoma yelled at her father aka the emperor. “I won’t forgive you for hurting Lewis and Tteokbokki!” “What will you do about it then?” Nikolai asked with a smirk. “Kill me?” “Yes! I’ll f*cking kill you, sc*mbag!” “Language,” he warned her, upset that his five-year-old daughter curses like a sailor. “Using vulgar words is unbecoming of the future Crown Prince.” “I’m a princess!” Upon yelling those words, the royal princess’s eye color changed from ash-gray to red. [This is getting serious.] “Stop it, Nero,” Nikolai told her sternly. “If you keep that up, the royal knights will come and–” “I’m not Nero!” Neoma screeched angrily. Then she jumped in the air with her left fist, ready to punch him. “In the name of the moon, I’ll punish you!” [What…?] And Princess Neoma, pretending as the Crown Prince for her sick twin brother, punched Emperor Nikolai, her father, in the face.
