“Nah. I’m not a fan of raw seafood.” I shook my head as I watched him in surprise. “Anything raw. I just don’t like it, except for fruits and vegetables. I don’t like fish in the Shushi, and I don’t like that one you’re eating.”
“Who doesn’t like oysters?” He looked amused.
I raised my hand. “Me?”
“Why didn’t you say so?”
“This dinner is not just all about me, Cenric.”
“I guess this is a part of knowing each other.”
“Exactly.”
“I like any kinds of shellfish, especially clams. I love one in particular. Can’t get over it,” he whispered the last sentence to me.
I squeezed my thighs under the table as I imagined what he meant to say. “Oh, what kind is that?” I lifted the wine to my lips, and he just noticed my hand was shaking.
“What if we ditch this dinner and we go somewhere else?” He held my hand as I placed the glass on the table.
