well who doesn't want to read a story where a relationship starts off with the male lead being dishonest for various reasons with her and then continuing on with his lies in order to better manipulate her but we're supposed to think it's cute and flirty and doting.

I waited for the 40 chapters before I say my piece. Hate it when the Male Lead is so arrogant. Although he’s IQ is really topnotch for him to be able to discover the Female Lead’s hidden personality, it is still nice to have a “doting” ML. And the FL’s character is quite weak against so many schemes from her family.
