It was embarrassingly thrilling, Blair thought. 

The grin that was plastered on her face only widened even more from his prolonged attention. No words were spoken between them because none were needed. She knew that he too could sense the shift in the tone of their relationship. 

It floated through the air, binding them together like an unspoken promise tying them into one. Whenever she braved a glance at his face, his gaze would be lit ablaze with something so fierce that it would cause her heart to flutter thunderously in her chest. It would nearly make her giggle, as though she was a lovestruck teenager.

Blair would have cringed from her ridiculous behavior were it not for him not acting the same way. She would look at Cadmus hesitantly as if that alone was a difficult task.
