It was a cold and clear night in this town. Looking at the night sky, uncountable stars forming part of the milky way galaxy were seen clearly. The moon was yet to appear in the night, leaving the stars to be the main source of light for this dark town.

A few meters away from the horse stable of Baldwin Inn. A bonfire was lit with six chairs surrounding the fire. Most of the chairs were empty except for two. On closer inspection of these two occupied chairs, it was to be seen that there were two figures huddled together; they were engrossed in their conversation.

It was coming to midnight, and most people had retired for the night. Omar Talib had sent his men to go and rest early since tomorrow was another grueling day on the road to Jerusalem. While the others went to sleep, he remained behind to have an exchange with Susana Abraham.
