You've basically established Merlin to be atleast as old as recorded human history. I doubt someone like that would be interested in being the pen pal of a little girl. This is someone who could have shook Hector of Troy's hand and witnessed the Bronze Age Collapse. Someone like that would at the very least test the little girl before investing any time with her. He tested King Arthur before he started guiding him in Arthurian legend, so why should Hermione be different?

Lol, dude got to live at least 5000 years.. Herpo battle 6 thousand years ago, Hogwarts 1000 years ago, and then he died only to get reincarnated. So he could live that long or did he just "Whelp, I'm bored. I'm gonna unalive myself."... Also his camelot would be interesting if it got some like like other fanfic. I forgot the title, it's a hp fanfic where Harry is successor of Merlin. Merlin enchant his library to be endless and able to update itself with knowledge from past to present. Whole world knowledge, mundane or magical..

I'm interested, but has a Minor and comum error, the writers generally making a MC with an ancient background, for example, this Merlin has in the minimum 6000+ years, the vision that Hermione is not a friend, get it? And, maybe he makes Hogwarts more to the information about the wizard world than the school himself. I believe that he maybe trying to make an early graduation? Think about, nevertheless, the story is promising.

I think you can make it more chapters fic by adding marvel and it will be more interesting
