All About John - Part Two

Treasure's favorite ice cream place was located on the Northeast side of Capitol Hill and was called The Capital Candy Jar. It so happened to be John's favorite ice cream place too and both of them were ecstatic every time they went there. The sign of the place alone was enough to have the children's mouths watering, and both of them swallowed in anticipation when the car parked across the street.

"Mr. Evans," Bill turned around and took off his sunglasses as he spoke to John, "If you'd like, I can go down and bring you the ice cream myself while you and the young Miss sit comfortably in the car,"

"No," John answered flatly, "Treasure and I will go and you will wait in the car,"
