"Damn devils... It really went faster than expected in the novel..."

Klaus celestial conciseness was seen standing in front of all dark fog increasing at monstrous pace, Klaus's whole body seemed to be made of stars and galaxies with dark space and golden eyes

Klaus didn't wasted even a moment and immediately placed his left palm forward which released a blue barrier capturing whole dark fog within a moment

"If you are alive that will be excellent and if you aren't then that will be just fantastic, I will be getting a new Avatar right?"

Klaus grinned and monstrous amount of mana started leaking from his celestial conciseness inside the World Tree and even his orginal body outside

"What the!?"

"What kind of mana is this!!!"

"It's too strong!!! I -i! Hey! Is that mana??"

"Are we seeing mana???!"

All the elves present there were scared to their cores, Klaus's mana was easily covering whole body of world tree at once

And the world tree had an extremely ridiculous size, the world tree was measured in miles and Klaus's mana range was covering that whole place without a hitch or any ounce of struggle on his face

That intensity of mana was not something that mortals could handle so easily, so the fairies immediately moved and covered all the elves, Zoya and Marcos Deulake at once

"Just how rotten is it?"

Fae commented with slight gloom over her face as she stared upwards towards the trunk of World Tree but her muttering got easily heard by all high elves present there

"Rotten!?"

"I-is the World Tree rotting!?"

"How of that even-?!!"

"Kugh! Hic! Wh-wha! But!"

The High Elves have been almost traumatized but those words while inside the World Tree the Klaus started to easily press the barrier backwards

Pressing it back towards the origin, slowly the barrier started to become smaller and smaller and at same Klaus also started moving forward

"Ohhh... Guess I came right on time!"

Klaus grinned and suddenly gripped his palm into fist and at same time barrier suddenly took a shape of humanoid body with absolutely dark and slightly reddish appearance

""What are you?""

Suddenly that dark figure questioned Klaus feeling extremely puzzled but what it was seeing, Klaus just stood there with smug look while the dark figure continued

""Whatever you are maybe a Space Dragon? Or maybe some ancient!? Anyways this isn't the time! You need to escape! Escape before the energy of this misa-!""

The dark figure was warning Klaus but for just a slight moment her clear emerald eyes with beautiful eyebrows and a tip of her finger managed to escape the darkness and Klaus managed to saw that

Klaus didn't waste a single moment and removed his insanely compressed barrier and at same time grabbed that tip of finger which was uncovered in darkness

But at same time because the barrier capturing the dark fog had been released, the fog rushed out at lightning speed

""What!? What are you doing! This world can't face the curse of Devil God's First Fo-!?""

"You don't need to worry about mine matters..."

She was giving warning in panic once again but Klaus stopped her and next moment she herself noticed all the dark fog getting shrouded in whitish blue light and the dark fog completely disappearing from the place

""What are you...""

Finally as the dark fog had completely disappeared a yet another dazzling appearance appeared in front of Klaus

'So this is Spirit of World Tree... The humunification of nature's beauty...'

Klaus noticed a surprised expression on the perfect face of a woman with goddess like beauty covered in white greece goddess like cloth and a wooden horn covered with flowers on left side of her head

She had perfect greenish brown hairs tied in perfect braid and some natural ornaments on her body

"I'm Klaus De Brahm, the Duke of Empire you are free to call me your Protection God"

Klaus said and transferred some of his pure mana inside her body to replace her exhausted energy

"So were you cursed by some cultist? Some Devil? Non human race? Or Devil God himself, which is impossible though..."

As Klaus questioned, the Spirit of World Tree took a few seconds to come out of her shock and recover her composure

""It was Devil God's First Follower! The First Devil, he said something like I'm the origin of life and elven and fairy race, killing me will erase these two races and at same time imbalance whole world's mana flow""

Klaus nodded and thought up a few things and came up with excellent observation

'So World Tree is something like mana purifier? Taking in the bad and corrupted mana like CO² and giving pure mana like O²?'

[Host~]

Even Apollo looked at Klaus as if he was looking at some fool, Klaus saw that cold gaze and suddenly sniggered

'I'm just kidding haha! I know the real reason... The World Tree is the gateway and guardian protecting the world from outer invasion!

It's the doorway that connects all worlds like spirit world, world of dead and even heavens with this world

Without World Tree Devils will be running wild in the world and the Devil God won't need to waste his energy over sending them one by one and he can immediately skip the process of creating portals to send devils here in masses

With no Ancient Elf, the power of this world will diminish at monstrous pace and not to mention the current situation when many characters haven't even reached their true potential

And who in the fucking world will even think in present world that even World Tree can be cursed? And who can even cure it?

Except me of course!'

Klaus smirked and grabbed the hand of World Tree's spirit and immediately rushed out with grin

"Let's take breather outside then... Yggdrasil..."
