I glared at him as he stood in front of me, his face a mask of confined emotions, I noticed that he did a lot of thinking, but then, I wasn't the least concerned, and I didn't make it my priority. 

Deep in me, I knew I wanted to wait and talk to him, he didn't look the least ugly, rather, he is so attractive. 

Blinking severally to keep my head out of water, especially as I risked drowning into his shady heart, I wanted to clarify myself about something. 

"What will happen if I? does it mean you will marry me then?" I asked raising a brow as I looked at him. 

His reply was harsh, and as it pierced my soul, I wondered if everything was going to be okay with me. 

"Don't sound desperate, lady, like I earlier said, I wouldn't married to you even if it happens to be that you are last lady standing waiting to be mine," he spat directly into my face.
