" That is just boring," said Bree after a short pause.
" I prefer taking the precautions just to be on the safe side," Yakov answered pushing his glasses on the bridge of his nose again. " We as nobles aren't that likeable by the commoners. There are times when they might be upset with the rulers and try to rebel, doing something foolish as trusting them can surely be a big mistake."
And Bree was an unlikeable ruler because of her antics.
After listening to what Yakov had to say, Bree's lips twitched. " You sure have a way with your words, to think that you called me foolish in such a roundabout way."
" I don't dare to call you a fool, your majesty. I am just trying to tell you that there is nothing wrong with you being a bit cautious," replied Yakov patiently. " But if you still feel that I might have said something wrong then I will like to apologise to you."
