27 – Even in death

WOMAN: They died 3 months ago. They were buried on that hill.

SHIRO: Oh … Thank you.

She turns around.

AI: Shi.

SHIRO: You guys can go on without me. I'll just take care of something.

AI: Shiro you don't need to.

SHIRO: I know...

AI: Can I at least come with you?

Shiro nods. Ai turns around to everyone.

AI: You can go. We'll come after you.

TAGGI: Okay.

Ai follows Shiro and they go on the market square and Shiro buys a flower. They go on the hill to Shiro's parents grave. She puts the flower on the grave.

AI: You know that they don't deserve it.

SHIRO: But they were still my parents.

AI: They were, but they treated you like you were nothing.

SHIRO: Maybe I am nothing.

Ai suddenly grabs Shiros shoulders and looks her in the eyes.

AI: No you're not. You are perfect, more than perfect. You're smart, beautiful and you are always so positive even when things aren't that great.

SHIRO: Ai...

Ai hugs her.

AI: You're perfect to me.

Shiro starts crying and hugs them back.

The others are already at the house. They are going to their houses. Akane stops Mira.

AKANE: Mira are you okay?

MIRA: Oh, yes. Why do you ask?

AKANE: You were quite all the way here.

MIRA: Just lost in thoughts I guess.

AKANE: Oh, okay.

She turns.

MIRA: Akane?

Akane turns to her.

MIRA: Do you... umm... do- Ah forget it. If you need help with the dress tell me.

Akane smiles.

AKANE: Okay. Thanks.

She goes.

MIRA: Just stop thinking about it.

She goes in her house and closes the door.

MIRA: You have no right to be jealous.

Anake looking at the dress.

AKANE: What am I doing?

Shiro comes in.

AKANE: Is everything allright?

Shiro smiles and nods.

AKANE: Do you want to do my hair?

SHIRO: Always.

When she's done with Akanes hair, she trys to do her own, but Shiro doesn't know what to do with her hair.

SHIRO: Ughhh. I don't know what to do.

AKANE: Can I try?

SHIRO: Yes, but I tried everything.

Akane comes to her and does her hair.

AKANE: Is this okay?

Shiro looks up into the mirror.

SHIRO: Oh my Plushies! It's beautiful.

She looks at Akane.

SHIRO: You didn't tell me you know how to do hair.

AKANE: I learned it from Eir.

SHIRO: Who is Eir?

AKANE: Someone I trust... A friend from my planet.

Shiro smiles. She goes to find her shoes. Akane looks out the window to the sky.

SHIRO: Are you coming?

AKANE: I'll come in just a second. You can go.

SHIRO: Okay.

Shiro leaves and Akane closes her eyes and does that thing with her hands. She tries to connect with Vulmone, but it doesn't work.

AKANE: Just stop it. You don't need to think about Vulmone anymore.

She lets down her hands, fixes her dress and goes.
